We did some fluids and density exploration in Grade 8 last week! Students measured density cubes to start the week, then moved on to predicting which liquids they thought would be the most dense, to least dense. Then we tested it out! @RCSD_No81 #Science
The Grade 6’s had fun exploring Quipu, the ancient Inca’s method of measuring quantity using rope and knots. #mathed @RCSD_No81
Fun with patterns today in Gr. 6! Students learned about patterns in shapes, creating a table of values, and creating an equation from a table of values! #handsonlearning @RCSD_No81
Students explored algebraic equations by creating and solving problems based on an imaginary shopping trip. Classmates had move around the room to figure out what item was bought in each equation. #thinkingclassrooms #math
