We had the pleasure of welcoming @WhaleWiseLive in to speak to an enthusiastic group of Year 7 & 8 @ChelseaAcadSci students today. Jess taught us about a range of whales found in our seas. They also learnt about the work scientists, like her, are doing in Iceland to help avoid whales being damaged by fishing nets. A thought-provoking session with quizzes and new facts for all!
Wow amazing conditions for a full 16 students from @chelseaacademy to make it out on the water last night with @FulhamReachBC, thanks for the great coaching!

48 of our excellent Year 8 @ChelseaAcadSci students were selected to take part in a STEM Epic Engineers workshop yesterday, where they learnt about different pathways into engineering including how to design, model structures and work as a team. Students #flourished in each group and did us so proud. The final challenge saw them create lightweight, strong tunnels for high speed trains, it was great to see all the students enthusiastically taking part. Thanks so much to the excellent @SmallpeiceTrust Ambassador Fred for running the session so smoothly across the whole day

Enrichment Programme
The extended curriculum calendar is live! We are pleased to have such an extensive range of options for all year groups and look forward to seeing lots of students sign up and participate. Some have very small numbers, so get in early in order not to miss out! Timings vary, so we encourage you to discuss with your child to ensure you know when they will be home on the days they attend. chelsea-academy.org/wp-conte…
