I say it every year around this time 🥴 BUT when thinking about setting up classrooms for next year, step away from the laminator. I’m done with being polite about it tbh, but nothing needs to last thousands of years. We can’t teach children about #Sustainability &then laminate

For trainees or ECT who are feeling tired/stressed, here’s some promises now that I’m on the other side: 1. All teachers are tired. 2. Your best IS good enough. 3. It’s okay to ask for help. 4. It really does get easier. Unsure who’ll see this but @MrTs_NQTs pls share 🙏🏼

If your values don’t in any way align with that of your school, you can be convinced you are a bad teacher and/or professional. You can feel isolated and useless. Try to choose your school carefully, but if you are already in it, consider switching ASAP.

Girls should not ‘laugh off’ and think being sent explicit photos is ok. It is horrific and I am truly shocked by this.

RT if you feel really terrified about the political direction our country is heading in. I’m curious to see how widespread this feeling is.

I don’t think I’ve ever felt such hatred for the government as I do today.

It’s ok to believe that children need desperately to be in school but still believe that schools should not go back in January.

Argument that this amount have died, or haven't, and 'only' so many 'healthy people' have died is irrelevant. Lockdown isn't just about saving lives; it is to save the NHS from being overwhelmed. It's children dying from appendicitis, because NHS is crippled, that the govt fears.

Right. @educationgovuk Pre-Christmas: we'll take you to court if you close. Post Christmas: Don't open straightaway, we need time to control this virus. I'm at a loss. @GavinWilliamson; you have to resign.

No...you encouraged people back to work, you got them to “Eat out to Help out,” you constantly changed the rules so people didn’t know what they had to do, you failed to create an effective test and trace system. Blame sits squarely with you Mr Johnson. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-54392187

I've said it numerous times, but PLEASE stop using the term OCD so casually. No, liking things in order or tidy is not a cute OCD trait. OCD is a serious mental illness with obsessive, intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviours. It can be completely debilitating. Just stop it.

Nobody in the media should criticise teachers until they have personally explained why teachers should entrust the safety of themselves & our children to the same politicians that presided over carnage in our care homes.
