On Tuesday, we discussed refugee week and today we celebrated Windrush Day! This naturally lent itself to a really mature conversation about the difference between refugees and immigrants. We started the day carefully looking at the Empire Windrush and created our own questions…
…after we read the rich @FloellaBenjamin text ‘Coming to England’, we empathised with Floella and created a body biography to summarise her main emotions! Then, we constructed our very own Empire Windrush models on the 75th anniversary of it’s arrival! Da iawn 3/4! #WindrushDay
