Again, restaurant owner in London got arrested after being attacked by Pakistani goons who are backed by the Mayor of London. Remember him, he kept being abused by Muslims in London because he refused to serve halal food. London is ruled and run by Islam. Glenna did an unusual thing that people typically don't do: she checked a citation in a law review article to see whether the citation said what the authors claimed it did.
She found that the citation said the opposite of what the authors claimed it did.
She then asked the editor of the law review for a correction.
The editor did not reply to the request.
She then asked the authors for comment on the incorrect citation.
The authors acknowledged that the citation was erroneous and regretted the error.
The authors then insisted that the citation did not matter to their actual argument because nothing in their argument depended on the citation being right.
Glenna then wrote a post explaining why the erroneous citation was in fact important to their actual argument, and why the erroneous citation also exposed a wider ignorance of the subject on which the authors were writing. (She claims, convincingly, that it's important to know what sex is in order to understand what sex discrimination is, and that being able to define what sex is is an inextricable aspect of knowing what sex is.)
I consulted with some lawyer friends in a chat group who helpfully explained to me that no one ever reads footnotes, no one checks the underlying references, and no one cares if they are correct or not because law review articles like the one Murray and Shaw published are merely political advocacy masquerading as legal scholarship that no one reads, and therefore not to expect the Supreme Court Review to issue a correction for a citation that the authors are on the record admitting was erroneous.

A large group of Amish builders from Ohio are spending the next FIVE MONTHS fixing homes damaged by Hurricane Helene for FREE in Western North Carolina and South Carolina.
There's just one problem... the Amish don't drive, so they need drivers to take them back and forth to job sites and drop off trailers (if you have a truck).
I have already volunteered to help, but we need more volunteers.

In my career within the world of FORINT, I’ve seen pretty much everything. I’ve seen some of the most horrifying and disturbing atrocities and worked on some immensely difficult and gruesome crime scenes. But this video is right up there with some of the worst.
Boko Haram islamists captured Christian villagers and executed them by first torturing them and tying them up, then slowly beheading by almost sawing them with a short blade and placing the heads on the bodies.

I’ve been in two minds about even posting it, but I have done so because I feel it is so important in light of the fact that this exact barbaric and nightmarish thing was perpetrated by Hamas several times on October 7, yet even with video and forensic evidence, propagandists worked tirelessly to deny it and diminish it. This is the same atrocity we’ve seen from Isis in Syria, and there have been numerous cases perpetrated by islamists throughout the Middle East, Africa and Asia. And it even happened in broad daylight to the British soldier, Lee Rigby in the middle of London. This has been a method of choice by Muslims for 1400 years with thousands of records showing this being done to Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Druze, Kurds and more.
We’re at a pivotal moment in our history where this is the kind of thing that happens all too often, and only one ideology does it. This is something very different to soldiers shooting it out on a battlefield. This is as cold and savage as it gets. People need to understand what they’re up against. This isn’t a game. This isn’t some movie. And there is no place for tough talk by those thinking they can sort it out because they have a gun. This is a different kind of mindset. There is absolutely no care for human life, and no fear to commit the very worst atrocities imaginable. And it will become more common in places like the west where too many think it never will. The world as a whole needs to open their eyes and understand what is happening. All the appeasement and diplomacy in the world will not stop this. King Abdullah of Jordan stood at the UN last week and delivered a powerful speech against Israel’s intervention in Syria, accusing Israel of being an expansionist state.
Today, Jordan attacked southern Syria.
Don’t get me wrong: I stand with King Abdullah in this attack, and in any attack against terrorists who target Jordan.
But I also stand with Israel, which had to make sure that, after Syria fell to ISIS, they would never be able to create another Gaza on Israel’s border.
