🚨BREAKING: Dr. Michael Stein says if he gets cancer, he won’t step foot in a hospital because he claims he’s seen too many people die from chemotherapy, not the cancer itself!
According to the quote circulating online, here is what he says he would do instead:
"1. I’ll stop working and fast for 30 days."
"2. I’ll drink 4 liters of water every day."
"3. I’ll eat a plant-based diet, non-GMO, organic."
"4. I’ll stop stress, change my environment, get 8 hours of sleep."
"5. I’ll take high doses of Vitamin C, D3, Zinc, and Magnesium."
"6. I’ll do hyperbaric oxygen therapy."
"Cancer can't survive in an alkaline, oxygenated, stress-free body."

It’s pretty incredible how much has happened in South Florida just in 2026:
• Jan 12: Vanderbilt moves forward with a ~$520M West Palm Beach campus. Stephen Ross commits $50M.
• Jan 20: Wells Fargo moves its Wealth & Investment Management HQ to West Palm Beach. ~$16B annual revenue business.
• Jan 27: D-Wave moves its corporate HQ from Palo Alto → Boca Raton and builds a major R&D operation at BRiC.
• Jan 27: FAU commits $20M to bring a D-Wave quantum computer to Boca and build out its quantum ecosystem.
• Feb 17: Palantir moves its HQ from Denver → South Florida.
• Mar 25: KKR opens a permanent office in Miami.
• June 2: Pine Crest announces a new West Palm Beach campus. Stephen Ross ultimately commits $100M to the project.
• Sep 10: Andreessen Horowitz announces a West Palm Beach regional HQ for its $1.176B American Dynamism fund.
• Sep 11: Stephen Ross / Related Ross buys BRiC in Boca: 124 acres + 1.7M sq. ft. of space.
• Sep 30: Ken Griffin gives Carnegie Mellon $3 BILLION, the largest individual gift in higher-ed history. $2B goes toward building CMU Miami in Wynwood for 3,500+ students.
And this is on top of Citadel building its new Miami HQ and Stephen Ross planning $10B+ of investment across Palm Beach County.
Vanderbilt. Carnegie Mellon. Palantir. D-Wave. a16z. KKR. Wells Fargo. Citadel. FAU. Pine Crest.
Miami → Fort Lauderdale → Boca → West Palm.
Feels like South Florida is hitting an inflection point, and we’re just getting started.
This reads much more naturally for X/LinkedIn while keeping the numbers that make the story impressive.

For the first time in U.S. history, builders are undercutting existing home owners on price.
New houses sold at a median of $394k in August 2026.
Re-sale houses sold for $429k.
That made new houses $35,000 cheaper, which is a near record discount.
You can see historically, it's the inverse. Builders are normally charging $35,000 more for houses, but now they're cutting.
The reason this split is happening is because builders are adapting to market conditions and trying sell homes.
While existing owners are often sitting on their hands, de-listing their houses to sit on 3-4% rates.

A canary in the coal mine is building in the U.S. Apartment sector.
With mortgage delinquencies hitting the highest level since 2009.
Fannie/Freddie multifamily defaults have more than doubled over the last three years, and are near the highest level in decades.
The reason is because apartment operators are rolling into higher 6-7% interest rate debt.
At a time when apartment rents have dropped across many markets.
WSJ reports $2 trillion in multifamily debt coming due over the next decade, $750 billion by 2028.
Meaning this could just be the start.
Don't be surprised if you start seeing major apartment complexes selling at 20-30% discounts from peak pricing.

America’s car affordability crisis is getting worse.
The average price paid for a 3-year-old vehicle in the US surged to a record $32,461 in Q2 2026.
This officially surpasses the previous record of $31,628 set in 2022.
Since 2020, the average price of a 3-year-old vehicle has soared +$9,701, or +43%.
The squeeze is becoming even more visible at the lower end of the market, where a $10,000 to $15,000 budget now buys a vehicle averaging nearly 9 years old with ~98,000 miles.
In 2019, the same budget bought a vehicle less than 5 years old with ~58,000 miles.
Even used car ownership is becoming a luxury.

A historic disconnect is taking place in the U.S. Housing Market.
The cost to buy a house is now $2,886/month, incl mtg, tax, insurance.
While the cost to rent is $1,950/month.
The $936 buyer premium is one of the highest on record.
And eclipses the 2006 housing bubble.
So long as buying remains nearly $1k more expensive per month, people won't purchase.
Since renting saves them money.

BREAKING: The average sales price for a new single-family home fell -$47,700 MoM in August, or -9.1%, to $478,700, the largest monthly drop on record.
This is the lowest level since August 2024 and the 2nd-lowest level since September 2021.
The decline was driven by a shift toward lower-priced homes, as builders cut prices and offered incentives to clear inventory.
This comes as sales of homes under $300,000 rose to 22% of total sales last month from 19%, while sales of homes priced at $1 million+ fell to 4% from 6%.
As a result, total new home sales jumped +6.4% MoM, to 684,000, their highest since December 2025.
Meanwhile, median sales price fell -$24,200 YoY, or -5.8%, to $393,700, the 2nd-lowest reading since July 2021.
US home prices are falling to keep sales alive.
