With many in our community facing a lack of pay and or food benefits as a result of the government shut down, the Houston Food Bank is providing additional food distributions throughout the Houston area. NAM will be hosting one of these food distributions for up to 1,000 families in collaboration with the Houston Food Bank, for the next three Saturdays. Please use the Provided QR Codes or the following link to register for Assistance. houstonfoodbank.org/blog/spe…

Good teaching is not accidental.  It results from teachers who plan well and who connect with their students.  Both of these are intentional.  Good teaching takes energy, passion, and perseverance.  I’m grateful for all the teachers who are putting in the work.

As you go into this week, remember why you do this work. Remember why you chose the toughest job in the world. BUT, also remember what makes you special. The fact that there is a child you teach right now that needs a teacher just like you. Let that sink in. It’s powerful ❤️

Kids don’t gravitate to subjects… as much as they gravitate to teachers.

Su dedicación y pasión por la educación crean un ambiente positivo donde todos los estudiantes se sienten motivados a aprender y crecer.
