THE GAME STUDIO IS OPEN 🎲
Tic tac toe. Four in a row. Spinners. Slides and ladders. Bingo. Dice nets. Blank boards. Blank flashcards.
Here is why this page exists. Your students are not all in the same place, and yet they all need to be working towards grade level standards. Vygotsky (1978) taught us that learning happens in that stretchy space between what a child can do alone and what they can do with a little help. Every child has one. No two are identical.
A pre made worksheet cannot chase that. A blank board can.
Same game. Same rules. Same table. Different numbers. Nobody gets handed the paper that announces to the room where they are.
Print them, fill them in for the group in front of you, and then, when you are ready, hand the blanks to the kids and let them build their own. Designing a fair game takes more math than playing one.

Speed ≠ depth. Without intention, #AI can reinforce inequities we’re trying to dismantle in #edu. On @teachsmarterEDU, I unpack how to use it and slow learning to expand instead of limit students’ curiosity, creativity & critical thinking.

Teachers: Ready to Roll Into Mathematical Marvelousness🎲✨
Ever feel like your math block needs less "meh" and more "WHOA, what just happened?!" Meet your new classroom MVP: The 60-sided die. Because why roll a 6 when you can roll a 47?
Why 60 sides = 60 times more awesome:
• Instant engagement boost - Students perk up when you pull out this geometric marvel
• Built-in differentiation - Higher numbers = higher challenge levels automatically
• Mental math workout - "Okay, you rolled 38... now subtract 15!"
• Probability paradise - So many delicious fractions to explore.
The suspense factor - Will it be 3? Will it be 59? The drama is REAL…
