Not me shocked that a movie called “Warlord” has so many gruesome fighting scenes 😭

All of you saying the lady did not use her senses in the marriage just make me laugh. One thing you don't have the capacity to do is to outsmart someone who is deceiving you. If you take a step, a deceiver is three steps ahead. Pray never to marry your enemy when it is time.

Many men are fun to date, not to marry. When you marry someone, you see their everyday habits. Many men are domestically lazy/ untrained which to women makes them look childish. And once that mother-son dynamic shows up, sexual attraction fades. A common reason I’ve noticed.
There’s a TikTok video in which the comments are full of married women talking about how they hate sex so much with their husbands😭 all of them would never get married again in their next life

Last (I can think of) but not the least is the quality of the experience itself. Is sex good for you or the both of you? Is she reaching her pinnacle often? Are both of your pleasures being prioritised? Do you explore each other’s wants or needs often?

Married women don’t just wake up one day and hate sex with their husbands. In some cases, it was probably something they looked forward to initially but overtime, lack of intentionality or consideration in some areas ruined the experience for them. God help us all.

I remember someone talking about spanking her child for mistakenly spilling water so I asked her what she did when she spilled water. She was like I get a rag to clean it, so I asked her why she didn’t spank herself and she was like “it’s a mistake”. Me:

That broke me cause it is conditioning. That after hurting you you need to seek reassurance from the person that hurt you. That’s why we have domestic violence thriving
I just hope we can reflect on our actions as parents. I’ve been in Maraji’s position, and it’s not one of my proudest moments as a parent, I don’t want a medal for that….It doesn’t teach a child what we hope it will. What breaks my heart is when they come close afterwards, looking for reassurance, asking for a hug, wanting to know if they’re still loved. We teach them to use kind hands, then turn our own hands into something they fear. May God help us make better choices for our children.

You turned out fine but can’t resolve conflict without blowing up. You turned out fine but any discomfort you run away. You turned out fine but you’re scared of authority. You turned out fine but resist healthy love. You turned out fine but struggle to express yourself.

You turned out fine but you’re a people pleaser. You turned out fine but you’re a perfectionist and beat yourself up when you make a mistake. You turned out fine but find chaos familiar and peace “boring”. You did not turn out fine my dear. Let’s all be going to therapy.

“Oh a child’s crying and throwing a tantrum, let me make it worse by hitting them instead of teaching them how to fucking self soothe!” That’s why you lot smash TVs when you’re angry and make it everyone’s problem. You never learned to self soothe. Oh well it’s not entirely your

Why friend (will not be tagging her because you people are animals) who has never hit her kid for one day, has raised one of the most emotionally stable and aware child, I’ve ever met. Very intelligent boy that knows that actions have consequences, but is still aware that we never put our hands on people. You people are lazy and do not want to actually parent and that’s why a frustrated child frustrates you to the point of hitting them. They’re children. Children.

That’s why it’s easier for the rebuttal to be “it’s because you’re childless” and not them thinking to themselves that something is wrong somewhere.
A sign of a well developed adult is their ability to challenge authority btw But they flogged that out of a lot of Nigerians at a young age 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

“Just a lash” God will help us in Nigeria 🙏🏾
You would think maraji whooped her child uncontrollably instead of just a lash with the performative woke tweets some of you are putting up. When u tell your child to do something repeatedly and he keeps defying u, buy him chocolate and ice cream .

You don’t have to beat a child to “discipline” them btw. When Sola Allyson said “many of us our first abusers were our parents” was too real. Just cause something is common/ normalised within a culture doesn’t make it right.

Then we wonder why so many grow up to be toxic and/ or fall victim to toxic dynamics. You better do your best to break the pattern today.
