Japan approved its first privacy-focused token. Most people haven't noticed.
Japan effectively banned privacy coins years ago. The FSA pushed exchanges to delist Monero and Zcash in 2018, and they've been absent from Japanese exchanges since.
Yesterday @sblox_official, an exchange owned by SONY, became the first in Japan to list a privacy-focused coin.
$NIGHT is @IOHK_Charles's Midnight, Cardano's privacy sidechain. It's JFSA-approved, and he's calling it a landmark.
Worth noting: $NIGHT isn't a privacy coin in the Monero or Zcash sense. It uses selective disclosure, meaning privacy with compliance. Prove what you need to, keep the rest private. That regulator-friendly design is why it got approved where the others didn't.
The tokenomics are also unusual. Holding NIGHT generates DUST, a non-transferable token that pays for all gas and transactions on the network.

Dear @coinbureau,
Since you deleted the Cardano post after pressure from the community, I am now asking you, since you are the biggest investor and co-owner of theKOLLAB agency from Dubai, to kindly ask all those garbage KOLs you control and who work for you to also delete the trash you have all been coordinating and systematically posting together for months against Cardano, creating a narrative that damaged this great project.
All the top-tier KOLs who have been systematically trashing Cardano for months, mocking it, belittling it, and shaping the narrative are all part of your network.
I am calling on the @IOHK_Charles, @Cardano_CF, @IOGroup, @emurgo_io, and all other Cardano fans to investigate these connections more deeply, because this constant dumping on #Cardano has been going on for far too long, and it is time to put an end to it and start digging somewhere.
There are too many connections here, and this needs to be seriously investigated. Either someone is paying these people to do this, or they have all collectively lost their minds. Something is definitely going on here.

A Strategic Update for the $STUFF Ecosystem
On July 3, 2026 (Epoch 641), we will begin sunsetting the $STUFF Stake Pool.
When we launched the pool, it played an important role in helping grow and reward the community. Today, @book_io and @stuff_io are entering a new phase, and we believe the strongest path forward is to focus $STUFF on utility, demand, and ecosystem growth rather than token emissions.
As a result, we have made the decision to discontinue bonus $STUFF rewards through staking.
If you currently delegate ADA to the $STUFF Stake Pool, please be sure to redelegate to another stake pool before July 3rd.
Any unclaimed rewards will remain available through the normal claim process. We encourage all delegators to visit rewards.book.io and claim any outstanding rewards within the next 60 days.
Most importantly, this is not a step backward. It is a step forward.
Our focus is now on building real utility and real demand for $STUFF through products, commerce, and platform growth. We are moving aggressively toward bringing more than 12 million print books to @book_io, creating one of the largest book marketplaces in the world. As those sales grow, a portion of net sales will be allocated toward purchasing $STUFF.
We believe the future value of $STUFF should be driven by adoption, customer activity, and ecosystem growth. That is exactly where we are headed.
