Congratulations to Señor Patino, who earned his National Board Certification. Señor Patino recently shared with me that, "this is the best professional learning I have done and it's made me a better teacher". Felicidades Señor Patino!!

We still have not passed a K-12 Budget and the voucher bill that included SPED funding is dead. I'm subbing on the conference committee on HB 2089 tomorrow. Will be interesting to see what they bring... #CleanBudgetBill #FullyFundSPED #novouchers #ksleg #ksed 🍎🌻🍎

Leaving my mom in hospice in Houston last night was one of the low points of my life. I'm going to fly back for weekends until my money runs out but...man... there is no bottom to the depth of the misery.

Old school football player that did everything for us. Not many athletes that can do what he did this year in so many different ways against the best competition in the state
