In Dec 2023, I randomly decided to do a road trip across West Africa solo. I started in Lagos then passed through Benin. Continued to Togo, Burkina Faso, Mali, Senegal, The Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea-Conakry then took the ferry to Freetown Sierra leone then back to Lagos

was trying to exit an event and someone with their mobile videographer literally blocked the exit doing dancing content. I get it, so I stood aside waiting to pass. These people continued and didn’t have the courtesy to step aside until a line began to form. This isn’t normal

they literally just continued recording with the talent doing different dance moves and videographer capturing from different angles. I stood there half amused, half irritated. Couldn’t believe they just didn’t care that they blocked the exit. This went on for a while!

On Sept. 23, I sent Meta a demand letter after someone dear to me had her Instagram accounts permanently disabled since Feb. 1, without explanation. Yesterday, all 5 accounts got restored. It’s time Meta was held accountable for how it treats Nigerian users.

Life is so funny. I stayed in this apartment in Korea in 2023 and yes it was somewhere at the back of my mind but I actively wasn’t thinking about it when i rented my spot in Lagos. I just realized the similarities between both

Yes. That error aside. Rolling dice signifies a game of chance. The concept of insurance is literally the opposite ie “don’t leave your life/money/health etc to chance” So that design for an insurance company is fundamentally antithetical to what an insurance company stands for
