Well, bunny is staying overnight there because she is full of gas :’) but apparently I got her there on time. I got home at 4am tho
Been waiting at urgencies for an hour and a half, at least I can doodle stuff meanwhile

They’ve taken rabbit in, now got to wait. Also I meant to write week, not weekend, that’s how messed up I am right now 🫠

Taking the rabbit to the 24hr vet at midnight is a great way to start the weekend :(

Yeah, I went the other way around, had to learn code and a lot of UI/UX stuff haha. Still learning! But I get you, if you enjoy the process keep at it! :D

Honestly, I've had to learn to do so much, I couldn't put learning how to do music onto my plate too😭 And I mean, we can buy asset packs for various things, music is just another one. Just got to curate what you need tastefully!

You can! Just have to make sure that they are streamer safe in case they start making content with your game, I linked to Ovani Sound in another comment, which I find has a great library, and they also have frequent Humble Bundles with both music and sfx you can get!

Asking devs to write a disclosure that serves the customers that care about the usage of AI tools to make an informed decision is -not- a political statement, but a pro-consumer policy.
Replying to @mattworkman
Forcing developers to write a political statement to be used against them by the hate mob they’re helping organize is abhorrent.

We literally licensed our music from a library because we don’t have any sound designers and we keep hearing positive feedback about the choices made. There’s no reason to use AI for absolutely anything at all.

THORNSPELL @ModachGames. Place plants, water them and chain magical effects to score huge numbers, while corruption tries to burn your garden down. Manage two decks, set up wild synergies and snowball your garden into something broken. store.steampowered.com/app/4…

Seeing the manufactured negativity around BioWare from “true fans”, I want to share something they made that changed my life : the Dragon Age Inquisition Tarot cards. They changed my brain chemistry and absolutely helped me take the next step in my artistic evolution (1/x)

In any case I do think Valve’s recommendation algorithm does a very good job of pushing down low quality stuff, so much of a good job that we notice that in Next Fest because of the 48 hr random learning period where it’s not in effect.

Yeah I feel like increasing the price is just going to push away people from taking creative risks with their games, as well as pushing away devs from low-econ countries, rather than filtering out the low effort stuff.

A suggestion I read somewhere was to only let games that had their store up for x amount of time to be allowed into Next Fest or to release the game, and I feel that would be a better and more fair barrier to protect Steam from getting spammed with low effort stuff.
