Referrals for the win 🦾
Mode is about shared success. If you help the network grow, you will be rewarded.
It's that simple.
IYKYM 🟡
🚨I got a lot of questions and concerns as to how I accrued over a 100k points and top 50 on the @modenetwork airdrop leaderboard with 0.04 eth bridged in
Here's the secret sauce
Firstly, I made sure to bridge in early and locked in the 5k bonus points. It pays to be early but that bonus for being early didn't get me to the top 50.
After bridging into Mode, i interacted with the protocols in the ecosystem for double points.
Made a thread here:
teapawt.net/jalaal_tweets/status/1…
That wasn’t it either, but it definitely helped.
The secret sauce is that I shilled ref link really hard on Twitter and Telegram and in all my GCs and DMs.
That's it. Other people who bridged .04 ETH have like 300 points.
Most of my points came from referrals!
You don't need a big wallet to earn mega points, you just need to get out there and start referring people.
You get 16% of the points that all the people you referred accrue.
So spread the word on mode, the more tvl you bring, the more points earned.

Expanding the Mode Ecosystem 🟡
As the Mode ecosystem continues to flourish, we're always looking for fresh talent and innovative projects to join our community.
Whether you're a seasoned developer or just starting out, Mode is here to support you every step of the way in deploying your projects.
Let's dive deeper 👇
🤔 Why Mode?
By deploying on Mode, developers engage with a network that extends beyond a single Layer 2 platform, connecting them to broader opportunities like the retroPGF rounds and a 1 billion dollar fund managed by Optimism.
📑 Your first smart contract on Mode
Starting with Mode is straightforward.
Using Remix, an online IDE, you can deploy your first smart contract quickly.

💰 Mode’s developer rewards system (SFS)
SFS is central to Mode's developer rewards system.
Here, the sequencer, responsible for block production and transaction confirmations, enables developers to earn from sequencer fees.
By registering your smart contracts in the Fee Sharing Contract, you start earning fees, represented by an NFT minted during registration.
Learn more here 👉 dub.sh/mode-sfs
📝 Registering and assigning in SFS
SFS offers two functionalities: registering and assigning.
Registering involves calling the `register` function from your smart contract, leading to NFT minting for fee entitlement.
Assigning links your contract to an existing SFS NFT, consolidating revenues from multiple contracts.
⚙️ Withdrawing from SFS
To withdraw earnings, holding the SFS NFT is essential.
The process accommodates both EOAs and smart contracts with a straightforward withdrawal function.
This ensures easy access to your rewards.
Read the withdrawal guide here 👉 dub.sh/mode-sfs-withdraw
❯❯ Join the Mode ecosystem
Mode Network invites developers to a collaborative ecosystem.
Participate in hackathons, write articles, engage in ambassador programs, and join community events.
With developer airdrops, grants, and retroPGF, Mode offers diverse opportunities for growth and innovation.
