The screen glowed with the familiar chaos of a city tearing itself apart. During the George Floyd riots, I watched the footage, like everyone else. Then I saw it. A group gathered around a spot on the pavement. One of them held up a bottle, spoke a few low words, and tipped its contents onto the concrete. A libation, a common action we have come to know as "pouring one out for the homies." But this time something clicked, They were perfoming a kind of "magic." In that moment, surrounded by violence and state power, I saw a ritual as old as time. It was ancestor veneration. They were concreting ground and making a direct, unmediated offering and a plea for favor in the coming battle, from the spirit(s) of someone(s) they considered their own. 1/3

Ancestor veneration is not about worshipping the dead as gods. It is the simple, profound understanding that our Innangardh does not end at the grave. The loyalty that defines family does not vanish when the heart stops beating. Our ancestors are not distant, gone forever to some unreachable heaven. They are still our tribe, still bound by the oaths of loyalty that transcend death. They have knowledge, power, and a vested interest in the survival and success of their kindred. To venerate them is to maintain that relationship, to keep the lines of communication open between the world of the living and the world of our dead. It is the ultimate rejection of the modern isolation The Empire demands. 2-3

You don't need to look to ancient sagas or foreign lands to find this tradition. It is alive and well today beyond the street gangs you just have to know where to look. Many still practice it; they just may not realize it. You can find it in any American Legion, VFW hall, and most bars and restaurants on veterans day. It is the reserved chair at the table, the place meticulously set that will never be sat. It is the bartender setting a full beer on the bar, untouched. All for the soldiers who will never come home to them. 3/3

Hiding your training is a bigger beast as its not a simple as changing the cloths you wear. You...at least should have spent a lot of time getting to a high level of training which also means you probably spent a lot of money getting there as well. This can be hard to then want to hide it or spend more time learning to hide the indicators that you now throw off because of that training. Deliberately concealing the very attributes your instructors told you were essential. Consciously reversing the predator’s posture. 1/3

Avoid the rigid, “ready” posture that screams awareness. You are unthreatening, unremarkable. Break the habit of the constant tactical scan. Use your peripheral vision and reflective surfaces to accomplish the same thing. Glance at your phone, look in shop windows, appear distracted or bored but don’t be. Carry a coffee cup or a bag but in your no dominate hand or keep one hand in your pocket as a few examples. This is likely going to sound counter productive because you have likely been taught that predators wants easy prey. That they rarely engage someone who might be a problem or draw attention and that you should present a hard target and appear confident. This is all true but there is a time and a place. 2/3

Your presentation must adapt to the threat level. This is not about being one thing all the time; it is about conscious adaptation. When moving through areas of high threat but low immediate danger, such as navigating a protest, as a bi-stander to an incident or some other non-permissive environment you need to project a soft target image. The goal is to be assessed as a zero-value target for both the criminals and the cops. You are not worth the time, effort, or risk for the criminals, and you are not someone the cops need to worry about. It doesn’t matter if you are law abiding, you wouldn’t be the first good samaritan the cops have shot or arrested out of confusion or cowardice. 3/3

For the record, if America is attacked on her soil, I will NEVER believe it’s not a false flag attack. It might not be, but the government has lost any trust it once had with me. Stay safe folks. Take care of each other. Maybe, get to know your neighbors. You may need to rely on each other like our grandparents did after the Great Depression.

This idea is a human universal, suppressed by The Empire because it undermines their narrative of perpetual progress. Nothing to fear pay your taxes buy are cheep merchandise. The Greek Stoics believed in a 1200 year period called Ekpyrosis, a cycle that destroys the old order and brings in a new one in a trial of fire. The Mayan Long Count calendar, ending its 5,126-year cycle in 2012, was not a prediction of doom, but their calculation for the end of an age. The Hopi, Inka, and many other tribes all knew of these great cycles of destruction and renewal. Even the Christian Book of Revelation, with its "thousand-year reign" of Christ, echoes this same transitional period. 1/2

These are not just stories. There is physical evidence. Every time a Yuga ends, there is evidence of widespread collapse of civilizations followed by fresh cultures built "on the ashes of the previous". This cyclical pattern is hard to ascribe to coincidence. The discovery of a black matte layer, composed of materials from wildfires and impact debris, spans the entire Younger Dryas period at dozens of sites, suggesting continuous bombardments throughout that 1,200-year span. Such findings bolster the idea that catastrophes are clustered. This is the scientific evidence that our ancestors were not just telling tales; they were passing down the history of the last great turning of the wheel the only way they still could. modernbarbarian.substack.com… 2/2
