Israel offers its profound condolences to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as well as the families of the victims, following the tragic terrorist attack at a church in Karak.
Targeting a place of worship and murdering innocent believers constitutes a severe assault on freedom of religion.
We wish a full and speedy recovery to the wounded and reiterate our solidarity with Jordan in the struggle against terrorism and extremism.
This video, that CBC calls “report” is a loathsome example of how biased media outlets distort reality. Managing to compress so much disinformation and misinformation in such a short piece is mind boggling.
Shameful!
CBC deliberately inverted the story
They opened with: “Israel has closed off the West Bank after Israeli soldiers shot and killed two Palestinians near Hebron.”
The actual sequence—that two armed men from Hebron drove up, got out of the car, and opened fire on the checkpoint, triggering a 20-minute gun battle in which the attackers were killed—was buried nearly two and a half minutes in. Only then did viewers learn about the large quantity of weapons and ammunition, Israeli officials saying the pair were planning a major attack on civilians, and Hamas praising the “high-impact operation” while calling for more violence.
BBC, CNN, The Washington Post, and The Times of Israel all led with the attack itself. CBC chose not to.
This is not neutral sequencing. Leading with the Israeli response while delaying the fact that the dead men initiated a terrorist attack is a classic framing choice that makes the aggressors look like victims—days before Israel’s election @brodiefenlon

Israeli researchers at @bengurionu have identified two “guardian proteins” that help cancer cells survive chemotherapy by blocking their self-destruction.
Led by Dr. Aeid Igbaria, the team found that disrupting these proteins can trigger cancer cells to self-destruct, offering a potential new approach to overcoming chemotherapy resistance in aggressive tumors.
The discovery may also offer insights into protecting heart tissue after a heart attack.

Our thoughts are with all the brave women and men affected.
We are working closely with the Government of Alberta and local authorities. Premier Smith and I are in close contact as are our relevant ministers and officials.

Setting an excellent example for others to follow, standing up against antisemitism and discrimination.
🏅On Wednesday night, I had the honour of receiving the Excellence in Advocacy Award from the Lord Reading Law Society together with @realdrewsylver and the three other student plaintiffs on our active lawsuit against Concordia university and its president over antisemitism and the university's failure to protect Jewish students and enforce its own rules.
We are neither lawyers nor a law students, which makes this recognition especially meaningful to me.
Over the past few years, fighting Jew-hatred, dangerous radicalization, and extremism has taught me more about the law than I ever imagined.
From pursuing injunctions against individuals who threatened our lives and openly declared their support for Hamas to our faces, to confronting the hanging of an effigy of a Jew in Montreal, challenging events promoting convicted terrorists, and fighting the injustice I experienced with my Canadian passport.
And, of course, launching and actively pursuing a lawsuit against Concordia University and its president.
Every legal battle, every challenge, and every obstacle has only strengthened my determination to fight for justice and accountability.
To be recognized by a society of legal professionals for advocacy that began simply because we refused to remain silent means more than I can express. I am deeply grateful for this honour, for everyone who has stood alongside us, and for the incredible people who continue this fight.

Read @IsraeliPM unequivocal condemnation of the terror attack against Saudi Arabia:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
I condemn in the strongest possible terms the horrific terrorist attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which claimed the lives of 12 innocent people and injured hundreds more.
On behalf of the people of Israel, I extend our deepest condolences to the families of those murdered and our wishes for a full recovery to the injured.
Terrorism targets innocent people and seeks to spread fear and instability. It must be confronted with resolve.
Israel looks forward to a strong Middle East—one that stands united against threats, protects its people, and builds a future of security, cooperation, and prosperity for all the peoples of our region.

Act surprised: Mahmoud Abbas has canceled Palestinian elections yet again.
Elected in 2005 for a four-year term, he remains in power more than two decades later.
The excuses change. The president doesn't.
And somehow, the international community keeps buying it.

When the world's jihadist terrorist organizations celebrate a Nobel Peace Prize, the award becomes a grotesque mockery of peace.
Hamas. Hezbollah. The Iranian regime's IRGC.
Let that sink in.

When a jihadist terrorist organization like Hamas applauds a Nobel Peace Prize, the moral judgment of the Nobel Peace Prize Committee is rightly called into question.
Hamas murdered, raped, and kidnapped civilians on October 7. Now, the perpetrators of that massacre are celebrating Navi Pillay, whose career has been marked by repeated antisemitic rhetoric and relentless hostility toward Israel.
This isn’t just a disgrace. It’s a moral failure.

Our government tells us “antisemitism has no place here,” while constantly funding it.
The most extreme example: funding UNWRA, many of whose staff slaughtered Jews on 10/7, and whose schools teach children to hate Jews.
