Just like you I've been missing sc2 tournaments so I decided to host my own 2v2 circuit! The goal is to host a few $1k monthly cups where you can earn points to qualify for the grand finale - aiming for a 5k-10k prize pool. First cup will be on January 7th! Link in the comments

as much as I like the old cyclone, without it I am not sure how we will even play TvP early game lel. mines are not scary anymore. sentry can scout any opening if toss wants to and has energy recharge. double gas openings got like 10 times less scarier. any proxy build got worse

is it possible for the ptr maps to get uploaded on normal eu server? 4 of the new maps exist on EU, although I don't know if those are the exact versions from the PTR. 2 are generally missing. Then we wouldn't have to play with ping at least if we just want to play customs x(

Balance aside, I kind of miss big changes since ever. There are so many units done for campaign and coop, which could be rebalanced for the multiplayer. Stuff like replacing Raven with ScienceVessel, T1 Hydras, Corsair instead of Phoenix etc. That would be my ideal sc3 already :(

We don't have any serious successor to SC2 and we don't necessarily need it considering how much potential is rdy to be used. Watching tournaments is getting more and more boring, even online tournaments don't even try to change the mappool for the tournies

Me personally I barely feel a difference between now and years ago in terms of gameplans and compositions. It just got more optimised. Sigh... x(
