Monil Virtual Fences

Going to get @MonilVF collars on all the cows - massive game changer for us for managing cows in remote sites and for constant cell movement

Girls now completely on the @MonilVF system Back to the hills tomorrow (Photo cropped from one by William Richardson)

These heifers are up in the hills. They’ll stay there till maybe January, on moves most days with the @MonilVF collars doing the work from my phone.

Using the @MonilVF to do some precision grazing of young woodland for @UllswaterCic They’ll do wonders for the under storey of the woodland, and we can manage the amount of nibbling they do at young trees

Can’t remember the last time I got so excited about a new technology on the farm as the @MonilVF It’s the monitoring as much as the movement that I love. On my phone at any time of day or night I can check the cattle are where they are meant to be or move them.

OK, so the deal with @MonilVF was that I’d celebrate their no fence collars (I got 10 on trial) if I liked them And I can now say without any hesitation that I do They are a brilliant product, and I love electric fence so wasn’t entirely sure beforehand… thank you @MonilVF

And the Monil no fence collars are doing great - moved the cells tonight and one decided to test the sound fence after a week where no one has been zapped
