After years of begging her to do it, my sister is finally making a business of her delicious cooking 😍🤤 Please support if you're in the northern suburbs (and we can make a plan if you're elsewhere in CPT).

Does anyone know if there's any recourse one can take against a towing company that towed your car without your permission & is now refusing to give it until you pay an exorbitant fee? – at Joe Slovo Park, South Africa

Last time I applied for a smart ID, it took 6 hours at Home Affairs. So I've been putting off getting a new one with my married surname. Today I went to @CapitecBankSA to apply for one, and in less than 5 minutes I was done! So quick & easy! Yoh! My HA trauma has been healed. 🙌🏽

The craziest dream last night: A massive rat wouldn't let us cross a bridge unless we gave it a blonde wig 😩 And it had just robbed a lady of the wig she was wearing!

Catherine O’Hara turned in easily one of the greatest comedic television performances as Moira Rose in Schitt’s Creek. Television is a better art form for her having appeared on it. We are better for having witnessed her craft.

Did this for my mom and split the card's total amount so that she could have money to spend in December and she will get the rest later this month so she doesn't have to Januworry 😬
A little reminder to start with the Checkers gift card savings. You simply go to any till, pick up any gift card (free) and load with any amount of your choice (monthly). We do it as a group and have one person keeping the cards & they get released at the end of November. Pick N pay, Makro and other retailers also have gift cards. This helps with the January groceries and stationery. And no it is not interest bearing. Hluleka uzamile ❤️

No one really warns you about this part of adulthood where you start to feel homesick, not for a house, but for a moment in time. A version of life that doesn’t exist anymore. A place you can’t return to, and a feeling you didn’t know you’d miss so much until it was gone.

I once asked a high-performer why they stayed with their company for 10 years. I expected them to say "the salary" or "the bonuses options." Instead, they said: "A few years ago, I had a family emergency. My manager didn't ask for a doctor's note. They didn't check my performance. They just said: 'Take care of your family, we’ve got your back.'" Retention isn't a "perk." It's a feeling. If you want to keep your best people in 2026, stop looking at them as "resources" and start looking at them as humans. Perks like free snacks and fancy offices are great, but psychological safety is what keeps the lights on.

unpopular opinion but a lot of “mental health issues” disappear when bills are paid, rent is secure, and the fridge is full. peace is expensive and pretending money doesn’t affect mental health is privilege.

What people don’t know is that for criminal cases & civil suits Twitter is obliged to hand over account details. Too many people fly too close to the sun thinking “doxxing” is a legal defence. It is not. It’s a Twitter rule. Break the law with your anon account? Prison. Sued.

Nope. Not such opt-out for content editing exists, even if you tweet Grok to opt-out. But it's about to get much worse. On the 16th, all ability to opt-out of Grok & xAI training will be completely gone.
Replying to @HeidiGiokos @grok
I heard theres a privacy setting where you disable @grok ability to edit your content because i dont think this will suffice. This robot has proven to have some pervet tendecies lately

i've come to realise that regret is a cruel storyteller. It rewrites the past with the wisdom of the present, convinces you that you should have known better when you actually had no way of knowing at all.
As you get older, what do you realize ?
