Really enjoyed this weekend’s episodes of Dar-e-Nijaat. After all the discussions around the show, it was lovely to see them depict the importance of emotional safety in a relationship. What a difference a safe, calm, emotionally available man can make to a woman, especially one who has spent so long feeling judged and ashamed. I think that’s partly why women are loving this story. And I’m glad we’re finally seeing that women deserve love, acceptance and redemption too, just as much as men do.
