I’m grateful I found Bitcoin before Covid hit. It opened my eyes to the friction and permission it takes to run a real estate portfolio. Sold all my AirBnBs during the plandemic and saved 100% of those proceeds into something unswayed by a company’s policy shift.

Nobody in CS says “S. H. A. - 256”… its commonly pronounced “SHA” ( as a single word). Yes it is an acronym, but that’s not how people verbalize it. That stood out as incredibly odd and possibly uneducated sounding to me. And the rest of the word salad is equally eyebrow raising. ❗️Interesting and quite alarming how he co-opted one of Bitcoin’s biggest value propositions — being “capped”, and flipped it into a negative. Bitcoin’s supply is capped and that is one of its most important features. So for him to use that term in a derogatory way to imply that the total possible value of the network is “capped” (by something) is extremely insidious and I could see it becoming one of those destructive idea viruses that other people pick up and start repeating just because they think it makes them sound knowledgeable because it’s an easy phrase to remember. Then of course to say “Bitcoin people” with a tone of disdain and dismissal is so offensive I don’t even know where to start with that mess.
