I am at a lipid conference at the BSEM in London. I had to share this. An example of the fatty acid profile (test done by Johns Hopkins) in a long Covid patient.

I simply DO NOT understand why people don’t want to know if Covid caused their health issues. I just don’t get it.

"Impaired T-cell and NK cell defences, just like AIDS" Before Opportunistic Infections (OIs) results in death, the multiple viruses already hiding in the body, are reactivated. #Leonardi_Effect #LongCOVID is #AirborneAIDS so #WearN95
Konkuk University researchers reviewed evidence that COVID-19 can reactivate dormant herpesviruses, including EBV, CMV and HSV. Impaired T-cell and NK cell defenses may allow these viruses to reactivate, potentially contributing to Long COVID. frontiersin.org/journals/imm…

it may be worth recirculating today too that newly elected Michigan Sen. Abdul El-Sayed authored this 2022 article in The New Republic: "Long Covid Is Just Getting Started. We're Not Ready for It.” newrepublic.com/article/1654…

Latest paper: Hypothesis: Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) as a Mast Cell Activation Disorder (MCAD) preprints.org/manuscript/202… This is a long paper because I wanted to "set the scene" so to speak and also cover anticipated and valid critiques. A wee summary below 🧵

8 of 12 people with autoimmune disease got a single infusion of CAR-T cells and went into lasting remission - years, no drugs. With rituximab, the standard way of wiping out B cells, 0 of 15 did. A new preprint argues the gap comes down to one kind of cell - a B cell infected with EBV.🧵
