There is no reason things need to "end now". People dig themselves into a ditch and then get out all the time. I have family members who did that plenty. They're doing just fine now. If you survive this you will end up being totally fine.

This is not going to play like a glaze of glory it is going to be mocked. That's not what you want man. No one mocks someone who has a crisis and gets help. If you hurt someone else or get offed by the police people won't see you as a martyr.

There are a handful of ways you can monumentally screw up worse but surrendering now doesn't make your life "over" and you're likely going to get help for the pain you experience. You could literally do it later on your own terms but you have to survive this first.
