A random memory I have a photo of: I got up at 5 am to watch the Buxton v Morecambe FA Cup match in December 2021. Cole Stockton scored the winning goal in a 1-0 victory on that freezing pitch.

Morecambe with the eight best average attendance in National League this season. Almost all the teams above us in the stats are of playoff. Not surprising of our people 👍

Adam Lakeland reached the NLN playoffs with King’s Lynn Town in 2024/25 and finished 8th with Halifax Town in the 2025/26 National League, just one place outside the playoffs. Here’s a look at his managerial stats.
Our new manager’s league finishes:
21/22: 14th in NLN (Curzon)*
22/23: 13th in NLN (Curzon)
23/24: 18th in NLN (King’s Lynn)*
24/25: 6th in NLN (King’s Lynn)
25/26: 8th in NL (Halifax Town)

Adam Lakeland has been appointed as our manager. Reading our fanbase’s opinions since yesterday, it seems almost everyone, if not the majority, agrees it’s a very good appointment. After looking into his work at Halifax, King’s Lynn Town, Curzon and Farsley, I join that feeling.
