Would have done anything to be in the meeting where they brainstormed what emoji reaction Jill Biden should post in response to her husband dropping out of the presidential race.

Barney River promises NOT to evict our neighbour, backed by @TorontoPolice if she pays.
When she went down to pay she was told she was homeless.
📣Tell the LTB they need to stay this illegal eviction 📣

We have TWO big problems here.
The FIRST problem is that in missing what the REAL Long COVID problem is, this Star article misinforms.
The SECOND (real) problem is that we actually don't understand Long COVID prevalence at all.

This is a startling statistic. Is this really accurate? Toronto has the highest transit ridership relative to its population (at least compared to 3 other transit-heavy cities). Reinforces that we should be doing more to make way for faster transit. Via thestar.com/news/gta/toronto…

Alright Toronto...let's talk about King Street...one of the main reasons people say we can't make it pedestrian only...how will people get to the parking lots...well...here is a map of all the parking lots (including garbage access, single private spots, and lane access), and how people will get to them...the red dots are parking lots we don't need to worry about because they have second entrances/exits on other roads...the green ones are the problem...and they can all be resolved with two sections that are one lane, and one way...#topoli #ttc #tocouncil

There is a real horror show of antisemitism and Islamophobia going on in this country, and it feels like there is no way through it, man. I personally have never seen it this bad. I say “rising” but that doesn’t capture it?? It’s been “rising” for years, now it’s full-blown wave

Metrolinx CEO Phil Verster announces he CAN’T announce a new opening date for the Eglinton Crosstown. He says he has a good sense of the schedule, but builder Crosslinx still finding “issues and defects that require additional time” so he’s made choice not to offer a date. Wow.

I can't believe papers are still running *just turn unneeded office space into housing* pieces without acknowledging how difficult, expensive and often implausible such conversion is

Can you believe that a Premier is actually threatening to use the Notwithstanding Clause to trample on Trans and Queer rights?
I could throw up.

I've received so many DMs and emails from Danaher employees who were contacted by HR and told to keep quiet after expressing public solidarity with those who desperately need GeneXpert tests.
Really lamentable that employee concerns are being silenced instead of being heard.

stop lauding celebrities as if you know their business and can vouch for their character. you do not know. dysfunctional parasocial relationships and stan culture wouldn’t exist without the masses’ delusion that they know strangers in ways that they actually do not and never will
