One has to ask @elonmusk and @X why official government accounts can silence dissent by blocking people to begin with.
It skews public perspective, and the public should be privy to it. That feature should be removed from officials' accounts.
OH MY GOD. The absolute AUDACITY of people expecting the rates and taxes they pay to be spent on service delivery where they live.
What a deranged and insane idea that you should actually get something for the money you’re forced to hand over. Next they’ll want the potholes fixed on the streets they drive on. 😱
The Freedom Front Plus (FF Plus) wants more of the rates and taxes collected in municipal wards to be spent in those same communities, with areas that collect more revenue receiving greater benefits. ewn.co.za/2026/10/29/should-…
Oh shit, that’s not good.
Binance's initial investigation suggests that the security incident may involve a compromised DevOps engineer’s laptop, which allowed an attacker to gain access to a service container and submit unauthorized withdrawal transactions. We have found no evidence of any wallet private key leak. We will share a detailed technical post-mortem once the investigation is complete and the facts are fully verified.
The estimated total impact sits at around $6.3B. We have worked with blockchain partners to freeze affected assets, with ~$3 billion frozen on-chain so far.
Binance will cover all losses from the SAFU fund and the company’s funds. User funds are safe. We will also publish an updated Proof of Reserves once the remediation is complete.
As an immediate precaution, Binance has:
- temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals while security checks are completed;
- revoked the affected address authorisation;
- engaged law enforcement and blockchain intelligence partners to trace and recover funds.
Our teams are working around the clock to resolve this issue safely and thoroughly. We are working closely with our law enforcement partners to confirm the identity of these criminals and bring them to justice.
Please rely only on official Binance channels for updates. Please feel free to contact Binance Customer Support if you have any further questions.

Wait, didn’t Ramaphosa say political killings threaten our democracy?
But when a farmer gets tortured and has his ears cut off, it’s just ordinary Tuesday crime, nothing to see here.
The only thing the government protects is the narrative.
This morning Donovan Marx was viciously attacked on his farm. Severely beaten. Ears cut off.
This is the brutal reality facing our farmers.

ANC: “We’ve governed since 1994!”
Also ANC: “Oops, we forgot the chlorine. 800 toddlers now have E. coli.”
Also ANC: “Please vote for us next week so we can forget more things.”
Cadre deployment is how you put party loyalists in charge of the water and then act surprised when the toddlers start shitting themselves.
The ANC has governed South Africa since 1994.
Shit now flows in our streets; we faced years of rolling blackouts, and taps now make children sick. In Bronkhorstspruit, east of Pretoria, more than 800 people have fallen ill since early October, most of them under four years old, from water sent out by the state's own treatment works, full of E. coli. Apparently, some official forgot to order chlorine.
Somehow this party still expects to win the November 4 local elections, which tells you what state capture does to a voter base.
Municipalities across Limpopo and the Eastern Cape now pipe sewage into the streets. ANC officials built the system this way, because a dependent electorate is a captive electorate.
Central to this is cadre deployment, the practice of placing party loyalists inside every state institution regardless of competence. The result is predictable: Transnet collapsed, SAA burns through bailouts, and water treatment works poison the towns they serve. Potholes in our roads are often so large that entire cars fall into them.
The state is a machine for moving wealth upward to politically connected insiders while public services rot.
The latest Social Research Foundation poll puts the ANC at 32 percent nationally and 22 percent in Johannesburg, behind the DA in the city it ran for most of the past thirty years. Thirty years of dependency grants, captured media, and patronage networks still make rational exit costly for millions of South Africans.
The question remains: How is it possible that people walking through their own shit to collect buckets of drinking water are still voting for this party of criminals? That 32% should be 0%.
So citizens must stay quiet while the state fails to enforce its own immigration laws, then gets lectured about “lawlessness” when they react. Got it.

"Let me explain this view I don't have so you can understand it better".
"Andrew how could you hold a view like this"
This is the easiest way to test for retardation.
Just curious, how long does it take for SAPS to go get these criminals after the good people on X identified them?
Kane wins a gold ball and half of SA X is in full celebration mode.
If we got this loud about the crime, corruption or the Madlanga findings we’d have a functioning country by Thursday.
Yup, this “victory” has definitely echoed beyond the shores of Brazil.
But for totally different reasons 😉
On behalf of the government and the people of South Africa I congratulate my dear brother and friend, President @LulaOficial and the people of Brazil.
This victory will echo beyond the shores of Brazil. It is a victory for the global south and progressive forces throughout the world.
We affirm our commitment to continue strengthening bilateral relations between our two countries and working closely together in all multilateral fora to forge a just and better world order underpinned by solidarity and adherence to international law.
