Apologies for being off grid for a while dear friends … I’ve been spending some time with my good friend Lucy, recharging my creative batteries. But I’m back with a special project for Autumn … 🍂 ❤️🐭
At 2.00am we turned our clocks back from British Summer Time to Greenwich Mean Time, and spent our gained hour giving the station clock a good polish. Some are for abolishing the daylight saving tradition but us mice welcome it as a glorious marker of the changing of the seasons.
Who’s up for getting their boots muddy with a nice country walk this weekend? It’s been raining all day here in England so I reckon us mice will be slipping and sliding everywhere this weekend! ❤️🐭 🍂 #MandLsAUTUMNinENGLAND
‘Muddy boots’ … Autumn in England wouldn’t be the same without them. I prefer to brush the worst off then finish with a damp cloth, Lucy goes with her tried and tested method of waiting until the mud goes all crusty then whacking her boots on the nearest stable object. 🤣 🍂 ❤️

Today is Michaelmas Day, celebrated on September 29th, it’s the traditional Feast of Saint Michael and All Angels. We’ve been so busy decorating the church with Michaelmas daisies that I’ve not had time to finish my illustration. More info in comments … 🍂 🐭
