Moth Hack Winner: Logan White Title: Quantum Film Challenge: Quantum-native 1
 Engines used - Tomography Api
Film grain laid by a quantum circuit. A 16-qubit circuit places five crystals on each tile, and because fermions obey Pauli exclusion, the crystals keep their distance. 24,576 shots on Atlas were stacked into a sheet of film at the density of TRI-X, giving grain finer than its crystal count predicts. Congratulations Logan. Start using Atlas Alpha today - platform.mothquantum.com

Moth Hack Winner: Tammy Title: Listening to a proton tunnel Challenge: Daisy Chain
Engines used - Tessa Image, Quantum Blur, Retrocausal Echo, Quantum Teleblur, QRC MIDI & Qpixl One proton tunnelling through a double well, passed through a chain of Atlas engines, each given a single job. Together they build the opening, paint the cover, learn the tunnelling rhythm and write the music, then read the result back on real quantum hardware. The outcome is an EP, an interactive experience, a lab and a notebook. Congratulations Tammy. Start using Atlas Alpha today - platform.mothquantum.com

Moth Hack Winner: Jo Portus Title: Quantum Variations Challenge: Make a VST or AU
Engines used - QRC Train & QRC Generate
A Max for Live device that sends your musical ideas through a quantum reservoir and back. Any MIDI clip in Ableton Live, from a bassline to a drum loop, trains the reservoir, which then writes a new variation into the next empty slot. A single dial sets how far it strays.

Moth Hack Winner: Endeav Title: Chrono Challenge: Daisy chain
Engines used - Quantum Labyrinth, Tessa, Entanglement Shader, Quantum Blur, Quantum Teleblur, Retrocausal Echo & Coin Toss
A quantum organism whose life cycle is computed by a chain of Atlas engines. A quantum measurement writes each specimen’s genome, which grows into a colony seed and then a skin. The skin ages, warps its 3D body and gains an iridescent membrane, which becomes the sound the specimen plays. Congratulations Endeav. Start using Atlas Alpha today - platform.mothquantum.com

Moth Hack Winner: Tina Burton Title: Quantum fabric maps - Interference-blurred textures for digital materials Challenge: Three dimensions
Engines used - Quantum Blur A photograph of a branching tree, shot on expired 35mm film and run through Quantum Blur at a range of settings. The results became texture maps for a quantum velvet and a quantum organza, draped on cube forms in CLO3D. Congratulations Tina. Start using Atlas Alpha today - platform.mothquantum.com

Moth Hack Winner: Vedant Title: Quantum Pac-Man Challenge: Quantum Game
 Engines used - Quantum Labyrinth
A quantum take on a classic arcade game. Each of its 108 rooms is a qubit, and every 6 seconds the maze collapses into a new layout drawn from a measured bitstring. Uneaten pellets stay where corridors still run, and the ghosts re-plan their routes on the spot. Congratulations Vedant. Moth Hack Winner: Rand Title: The Quantum Diary Challenge: Make it audible
Engines used - Quantum Blur A diary that reads how you type as well as what you write. It sets your typing rhythm beside the feelings in your words, then turns each entry into a brain map and a song learned from your typing: slow and minor on a sad day, warm piano on a happy one. Congratulations Rand. Start using Atlas Alpha today - platform.mothquantum.com/

Moth Hack Winner: wedge Title: Quantum Sculptor Challenge: Expert - Quantum-native 1
Engines used - Quantum Blur & Entanglement Shader
A 3D scan of a statue, divided into twelve nations, each one a qubit entangled with its neighbours. Over sixty turns, each nation’s measurement decides whether it attacks, defends or explores, adding or removing cubes. One run, measured on real quantum hardware, was printed at 90 mm. Congratulations wedge. Start using Atlas Alpha today platform.mothquantum.com/

Moth Hack Winner: Vadim Epstein @eps696 Title: Mothion Blur Challenge: Moving image Engines used - Quantum Blur & Retrocausal Echo Mothion Blur blurs video through time instead of space. A 6-qubit circuit spreads each pixel’s brightness across 64 frames, so moving subjects leave echoes before and after they appear. Retrocausal Echo turns the clip’s audio into a matching quantum echo, so sound and picture ghost in sync. Congratulations Vadim. Moth Hack Winner: Sofya Rakitina Title: Quantum Blur of a quantum chip Challenge: One image, one engine Engine used - Quantum Blur A qubit map of IBM’s 133-qubit ibm_torino processor, run through the Quantum Blur engine on Atlas Alpha. Blur encodes the whole image as one quantum state, so every pixel interferes with every other. A noisy quantum machine, reprocessed by quantum mechanics.

Moth Quantum retweeted
"It would be a great shame if quantum computers were created and only ever used by governments and corporations." - Harry Kumar, @Moth_Quantum We've set a guest challenge at the Moth Hack: make something that teaches a general audience about quantum computing or quantum mechanics, using one of Moth's Atlas Engines. The winner gets a £150 voucher. Entries are open online until 2 October.
