Last night 100 Jews gathered for our @mytechtribe Tech Shabbat at Novig HQ: some of NYC’s greatest founders, investors, engineers and operators.
In the room: people from Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, Palantir, Airbnb, Figma, Pinterest, Lyft, monday. com, Asana, Payoneer, Upstart, Stripe and Databricks.
From Novig, Peregrine, Slash, StackAI and Kalshi, plus people from 25+ other startups, from stealth to Series B.
Investors from a16z, Left Lane, Primary, Upfront and Portal.
The room was packed with immaculate vibes and high-energy Jewish pride.
The message was loud and clear: Jews in tech want to find each other, and celebrate together.
Thank you to @j__fort and the Novig team for hosting us. and mazal tov again on the birth of a beautiful baby boy!

Four different people walked up to us as we were walking in lower Manhattan and Brooklyn - to wish us Shabbat Shalom.

Here’s to the next one!🍷
Kol hakavod to @FarroYossi for creating a movement of Jewish connectivity and pride!
Wonderful words of wisdom by @DanielSLoeb1, Ellie Zeiler and @gaby_goldberg - epic co-sponsors @nickbruhman and @slashapp and all the incredible people who came to celebrate and share their Jewish unity and strength!
Tonight, we hosted WrapFest NYC at Trump Tower, bringing together an incredible group of Jewish founders, investors, and builders from across New York City for an evening of Jewish pride, connection, and mitzvahs.
Hundreds of people came together to connect, build relationships, celebrate their Jewish identity, and inspire one another.
We closed the evening with an inspiring panel moderated by @gaby_goldberg, featuring Ellie Zeiller, lifestyle and fashion influencer with over 15 million followers and founder of Jane Jewels, alongside legendary hedge fund manager @DanielSLoeb1, founder of Third Point, which manages over $25 billion.
Hearing them share their personal Jewish journeys, how they’ve embraced their Judaism more deeply later in life, and how it has transformed and enriched their lives was truly inspiring.

Excited to announce the Cosign Awards: celebrating exceptional people, companies, and products that had a massive impact in 2026.
cosign.co/awards
Anyone can nominate and vote. Award winners will be chosen by the public in conjunction with a panel of judges, including industry leaders like @lennysan, @packyM, @amasad, and many more. We’ll host an event in December honoring the winners (10 per category).
For people categories, we’re mostly focused on everyone except the CEO–everyone else building the company behind the scenes.
Companies with the most amount of people nominations will be listed on our “Top Companies to Work For” page.
True to form, at Product Hunt I helped launch the Golden Kitty awards a decade ago to recognize great products. Soon after I launched the Rise Awards, honoring executives and ICs building companies that make them. The Cosign Awards is the next iteration.

Parents don’t need yet another app charting their baby’s sleep. They need the baby to be asleep.
Night Nanny does the trial & error for you, & keeps learning what works to calm your baby.
Not shown: safety, a separate camera + sensor system that alerts you to crib risks like a covered face or unsafe sleeping positions.

To all my friends who worked at Foursquare over the years (@MegletNY, @maxsklar, @david_rosenberg ... Crazy how many Tech Tribes OGs came from there!)
Thank you for what you built.
Social that makes real life more engaged, not less, and blessings for success in everything to come.
Foursquare was acquired last month. The outcome was disappointing. It's taken me a while to write this, but I think I'm finally done grieving it. Here are some thoughts on our final years, an effort to honor the team who helped build & maintain FSQ's legacy, and my attempt to finally get some closure. teendrama.substack.com/p/som…

Rabbi Yisroel Rubin, 78, Innovative Scholar Who Led Chabad in New York’s Capital Region.
When Rabbi Y Rubin got to Albany in 1974, he didn’t even begin with a synagogue or a community center. He went with matchbooks and a hot dog cart.
In time, he spearheaded the establishment of more than a dozen Chabad centers:

The Torah didn't give Adam an echo; it created people as two opposing halves of one while — an "Ezer K'negdo." The growth lives in the friction.
