5 years ago @Disneyland - we got our first official look (via these photos from Disney) of Plaza Point, the new year-round holiday shop on Main Street, U.S.A. The store replaced the Main Street Photo Supply Co., which had been rendered mostly obsolete by digital photography.

5 years ago @Disneyland - A new mural by Disney Live Entertainment designer Tim Wollweber appeared in Downtown Disney, to help decorate the then-vacant former ESPN Zone. Wollweber is responsible for artwork throughout the Disneyland Resort, including Haunted Mansion Holiday.

It's a day earlier than we expected, but Walt Disney World has raised ticket prices. A one-day, one-park ticket now tops out at $229, though the lowest-priced days remain unchanged at $119. Annual passes and Lightning Lane add-ons are also higher. buff.ly/L0n4WJt
