šØ I found one of the creepiest hidden details in #Obsession that almost everyone missedā¦
Right before Nikki is about to pull the trigger at the end of the movie, a mysterious voice quietly says āWake up.ā š³
An R-rated #Clayface movie with Mike Flanagan involved sounded like a dream!
Some great body horror, but generic writing, weak emotional stakes & a bland Gotham make this a frustrating missed opportunity.

#Clayface had ALL the ingredients to be something special! There are flashes of inspired body horror, but generic writing, weak emotional stakes, inconsistent tone & a bland visual style hold it back.
Not a failure, but man, what a frustrating missed opportunity for DC.
KLARA AND THE SUN was a pleasant surprise! Feels like a more mature Pixar movie with shades of The Iron Giant and Edward Scissorhands. Jenna Ortega is fantastic playing against type, and Taika brings the heart. A shaky middle act, but a moving film about love and grief.

Cage. Banderas.
Season 5 of #TrueDetective starts production in 2027.
Well, I officially finished all 8 episodes of CRYSTAL LAKEā¦
I have thoughts. Quite a few, actually. š
Some things definitely caught me off guard, and I have a LOT to unpack.
My spoiler-free review drops tomorrow. šŖš©ø
