If you loved You Can See Everything, I highly recommend Lance Oppenheimâs earlier documentary Some Kind of Heaven. He has a gift for making you deeply invested in people you never expected to care about.
nathan: do you understand why it's funny?

Of all the things I took away from YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING, perhaps the most important is that I would die for [REDACTED].
The amount of logistical engineering it would take for my wife and me to see a three-hour documentary together in a movie theater would put the board game Mouse Trap to shame.
Even Cameron Crowe couldnât get Led Zeppelin to approve âStairway to Heavenâ for Almost Famous. Greta Gerwig landing it for Narnia is historic. Netflix must've paid enough to buy actual Narnia.
Fully nerding out with my youngest tonight and loving it @newbeverly
Big milestone tonight: showing my 11-year-old the original A Nightmare on Elm Street for the first time. They grow up so fast.
RIP Dennis Haskins. I used to see him constantly at Dimples in Burbank.
Once a drunk guy called his mom because she didnât believe he was next to Mr. Belding. He handed Dennis the phone:
âHEY HEY HEY, WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?â
Everyone DIED.

My 11-year-old and I just walked past a secret AMC screening where two tables were covered in phones in Ziploc bags.
I said, âWow, they had to leave their phones.â
The woman working it looked at us and said, in the most ominous tone imaginable:
âNo. We took their phones.â
Hell to the yes! đ Locked and loaded with tickets for this, @newbeverly!
Any followup without Keanu involvement is worthless

The End of Oak Street is basically a killer Twilight Zone episode crossed with the Jurassic World promise of dinosaurs loose on the mainland. 99 minutes of chaos and gleefully nasty hard-PG-13 violence. I was all in.
Cooper Hoffmanâs Criterion Closet visit is an instant Hall of Famer just for him picking Happiness and talking about seeing his dad jerk off in it.
Just announced in Hall H:
Ryan Gosling joins the MCU in Marvel Studios' Ghost Rider, directed by Shawn Levy. Only in theaters 2028. #SDCC
RIP, Chuck Russell! Director of my favorite horror movie!
