Whiplash Comedy Opening Weekend - ✅
Welcoming comedy fans 7 nights a week at Ponce City Market in Atlanta
Come get some laughs and make some memories!
Excited to bring members of the @unitedchessboxing team to MIT this weekend. If you are at @SloanSportsConf let’s link up, and join us at our workshop and demonstration!
I don't set goals like most others.
I pick challenges that scare me, ones I'm likely to fail. Then, I use that fear of failure to fuel the discipline, drive, and progress to become the version of myself that has a better chance at that challenge.
I did it for myself selling out venues, landing spots on emmy-award winning casts, and becoming a chessboxing world champion.
Now, I coach others using the same goals system, Kaizen and Misogi, which I broke down for free in my latest newsletter. Check the first comment to give it a shot!
Grateful to @60Minutes to showing our beloved hybrid sport with more of the world.

Well deserved, champ @LevAronian
Still think the real winners were the fans. Best chess event ever.
Had a faceoff of my own against Sabri for the FINALS of @chess_freestyle Vegas - who ya got?! Magnus v Hikaru // Hans v Levon

Really appreciate the 35th birthday wishes!
This past year had the highest highs and lowest lows of my life…
In September, I got in a bike accident that broke my jaw, fractured my skull, and shattered 11 teeth.
I lost 42 pounds on a 6 week liquid diet, and I'm still undergoing dental work to get my mouth back to a functional state.
While painful and life-altering, I was able to practice what I preach in my work coaching state change management to executive clients, NBA referees, and professional athletes.
Less than 2 weeks after the injury, I travelled to New York on contract to lead a cognitive flexibility workshop for @nba referees at @GleasonsGym in NYC.
Two days later, I was hired to talk about resilience and lead breath-work at the United Nations to kick off UN General Assembly week.
This series of ups and downs paved my path for the next chapter of my career as a writer, speaker, and coach. I wouldn't have had it any other way.
Adversity builds armor.
Struggle forges strength.
When we get knocked down, we get up stronger, smarter, and more prepared for the next bout.
If you'd like to keep tabs on my career, stay in better touch, and learn how state change management can improve your performance and peace, consider opting into my free newsletter: Between Rounds
