You move into the fund when you want returns, and back into stablecoins when you need liquidity for costs or payroll. 🔹 DvP (Delivery versus Payment) keeps the asset and the payment in the same step, reducing settlement risk. 🔹 ERC-3643 & T-REX are the institutional layer for identity and permissions. They allow firms to define who can hold or transfer an asset. The goal isn’t to force everyone to use one standard, but to create a shared format that more participants can work with. 🟣 IP Licensing: Ownership Isn’t Enough 🔹 Owning an NFT of a song doesn’t automatically give you the rights to use it in an ad, modify it, or license it to someone else. The license needs to travel with the work, including who created it, what uses are permitted, and under which terms. 🔹 Today, this information is scattered across contracts, emails, and platform-specific rules. A person can read a contract or email the creator. An agent cannot reliably act on scattered information. It needs to discover the work, understand the license terms, and know what it is allowed to do. 🔹 A shared format makes the correct use easier instead of harder. 🟠 The Challenge: Jurisdiction 🔹 IP law is still national. A technical standard cannot override or erase jurisdictional differences. What it can provide is a verifiable record, including a hash on an immutable ledger, so the existence of a file and its associated terms can be checked later. 🟣 ERC-8432: A Shared Format for Onchain IP Licensing 🔹 ERC-8432 is still a draft. It aims to provide a shared format for registering works, publishing machine-readable license terms, and checking agreements onchain. 🔹 Automatic royalty splits and dispute handling are not part of the core standard. 🔹 The standard number was discussed, but it was not locked in. 🟢 Why @soneium ? 🔹 Soneium is the chain where this layer is being built, with the goal of keeping rights and licensing terms connected to the work instead of leaving them trapped inside a single platform. ✨ The bigger picture: Onchain IP licensing isn’t just about proving who owns a piece of content.
