Ondo, Canton, and now USDC new blockchain Arc deals only in dollars. Ondo gets paid in dollars as does Canton for services. For Ondo there's no real transfer of value to the token, unless Ondo changes that. Canton also gets paid in dollars and they do burn Canton. But there's no real value transfer. With the claimed 6 trillion in tokenized assets on the Canton Network. Look at all the headlines of all the blockchains right now. Every chain is crying they have stable coins. This is the phase that we are in. This might be the crypto shakeout that no one saw coming. We have to many chains and only a few are going to make it. We are entering our "Dot Com" moment.

AI agents can now trade on Canton. @FTPwhatsoever's hosted MCP connects ChatGPT and Claude to its agentic wallet tools on the network, so a prompt can go from researching tokenized RWAs to buying them.

Had the pleasure of joining a fireside chat at the British Residence in New York last week, on the sidelines of Swell, talking about the UK’s role in the future of financial services. TLDR: it's going to be huge. Not many people know that our London HQ is Ripple's largest office hub outside of the US. We bet big on London early on. When we took on our current office in 2018 it was two floors with a lot of empty desks. Today it is three floors, every desk is full and we are over capacity. We made that bet because the UK had the building blocks: deep capital markets, world-leading legal frameworks and regulators, and exceptional talent. But regulation was the missing piece. Post-MiCA, a gap opened up: we were signing deals with major banks across the EU while large UK institutions held back. That has changed. The UK now has a comprehensive cryptoasset and stablecoin framework incoming, we have a superb City Minister @LucyRigby KC MP and Digital Markets Champion Christopher Woolard CBE driving this agenda forward at real pace, and we are starting to see meaningful engagement from leading financial institutions. Last week’s announcement with @avivainvestors is a great proof point: a tokenised share class of their £22 billion Sterling Liquidity Fund, launched on the XRP Ledger. Thanks to the British Consulate team for hosting, City of London Corporation for convening and to @citypolicychair for moderating our discussion. I'm excited for what comes next.

This whole $XRP drama with influencers crying to @bgarlinghouse about the price is embarrassing. XRP isn't the only asset getting slaughtered. The entire altcoin market is under pressure. A simple glance at any alt coin chart in the top 200 will confirm this. Instead of blaming executives because your investment is down, learn the fundamentals driving the markets you participate in. Crypto is still a heavily trading driven market. 95%-98% of crypto actively Hedge funds, asset managers, institutions, and large retail participants adjust their exposure based on global liquidity and risk appetite. And right now, we're in a RISK OFF environment. Look at the fundamentals •Tight liquidity conditions •Geopolitical tensions •Persistent inflation •Elevated oil prices •A stronger U.S. dollar •Higher Treasury yields •Election uncertainty The list goes on. These are MACRO conditions, not an XRP specific problem. When liquidity is tight and investors are reducing risk, speculative assets suffer. It doesn't matter how promising the technology is or how many partnerships a company announces. That doesn't mean the fundamentals of the underlying projects have suddenly disappeared. When liquidity conditions improve, inflation pressures ease, and the macro environment supports aggressive risk taking again, capital will 100% rotate back into crypto. And when that happens, the same influencers complaining today will likely be celebrating the recovery and telling you to chase the pump. Stop confusing short term price action with long term fundamentals. If you believe in what you're holding, understand the risks and build your position responsibly while prices are depressed. These people are likely only at a loss in their portfolio because they don’t know when to properly buy. If you no longer believe in the investment, sell it and put your capital somewhere else. It’s simple 🙏🏽 But blaming people because XRP isn't trading at your desired price just confirms these people need to spend more time studying financial markets and what drives liquidity in and out of risk assets. XRP INCLUDED. Learn what drives liquidity. Learn how markets actually work. Learn how to mitigate risk and maximize reward That's how you become a better investor.

Agreed! RLUSD isn’t competing with XRP. It’s competing with other stablecoins. Use case matters, and I want those use cases running on the XRPL.

🇪🇺 The EU is telling 450 million people to pack an EMERGENCY bag. And it has put “payments” on the same list as food, water and medicine. On November 3, Brussels unveiled new crisis guidelines. The rule: every household should be able to survive the first 72 hours of an emergency on its own, with a grab bag ready to go. The 7 things the EU says you NEED to cover: 1. Food 2. Water 3. Heat and light 4. Medication 5. Hygiene 6. Information 7. Payments Why payments? Because card machines and banking apps NEED power and internet. In April 2025, when Spain and Portugal lost power, card terminals went dark and people queued at cash machines that still worked. Some countries are already going FURTHER than Brussels: • Sweden tells people to cope on their own for a full week • The Netherlands raised its advice from 48 hours to 72 • France published a 27-page survival guide The EU even wants an annual Preparedness Day, starting October 23, 2027. The guidelines are non-binding. Brussels says the goal is to avoid panic, not cause it. But the message is clear. People are expected to have a way to pay that doesn’t depend on the grid. If the power went out tomorrow, how would you pay for anything?
BREAKING: 7 EU countries have now reported CYBERATTACKS targeting refrigeration systems. 🇳🇱Netherlands: At least 17 businesses, including butcher shops and cold storage facilities. 🇫🇮Finland: Some K Group stores reported temporary overnight temperature irregularities. 🇧🇪Belgium: Around 40 Delhaize, 15 Carrefour and 5 Spar stores. Temp went 15°C. Losses of at least €100K, with all frozen products thrown away. 🇸🇪Sweden: ICA and Coop stores. One ICA reported settings changed to +50°C. Food discarded, some stores closed. 🇱🇺Luxembourg: 65 stores, several Delhaize stores. 🇮🇪Ireland: 13 SuperValu stores. Temperatures undisclosed. Chilled and frozen goods withdrawn, losses expected in thousands of euros. 🇪🇪Estonia: Major supermarket chains. Freezer set to +50°C. Supplier said rapid intervention prevented damage. Reports describe similarities to October’s freezer attacks in France, which damaged goods worth millions of euros. This story is still unfolding.

What's the difference between XRP and stablecoins like RLUSD? RLUSD is optional. XRP isn't. RLUSD is a dollar-backed token issued by Ripple. As the issuer, Ripple has to follow US law and can freeze RLUSD. XRP has no issuer and no jurisdiction, and nobody can freeze it. It's a commodity. XRP also has a privileged role on the XRP Ledger. Every account can hold it by default, and everyone has to use it: accounts need an XRP reserve, and every transaction fee is paid in XRP. RLUSD you have to opt into it (TRUST-line). On top of that, the DEX automatically checks whether bridging through XRP gives a better rate on a cross-currency swap (e.g. USD → EUR). No other asset gets that by default. Another important difference: XRP is volatile. Like any commodity, it isn't backed by anything, so its price is whatever the market says it is. That volatility is exactly what attracts traders and investors. RLUSD is the opposite: 1 RLUSD = 1 USD. Just from this we can already see that different use cases gravitate towards each asset. Whenever you need stable value for payroll, invoices etc, don't hold a volatile asset like XRP. Price swings shouldn't decide whether you can fund your operations. Stablecoins for any national currency fit here, and RLUSD is one of many even among the dollar stablecoins. Whenever you need a neutral asset that nobody controls, not even a government, and you want to reduce your counterparty risk, XRP is the only choice on the XRP Ledger. There is no alternative. Turns out these properties also make XRP very attractive to market makers bridging pools of liquidity. They only have to worry about XRP's price, not whether the issuer of some token runs into trouble. The more successful the XRP Ledger becomes, the more accepted XRP becomes and to make it successful we leverage our strengths and the things we are good at. This includes the activity of stablecoins and other assets.

🚨ALERT: A cloud lending platform that US community banks rely on just went dark. Abrigo shut down Sageworks after "irregular activity." Loan applications, borrower financials, and credit files all run through it. Borrower tools are still down, and Abrigo isn't answering questions. Your bank's data lives on someone else's server. #HackTracker
