Dear brothers and sisters, fellow devotees of the Supreme Lord Jagannath,I stand before you today, filled with devotion, love, and deep reverence for the Lord of the Universe—Jagannath. In this sacred space, surrounded by the presence of His grace, we are reminded of the power and compassion of our beloved Lord, who embraces all with open arms, regardless of caste, creed, or status.Lord Jagannath, whose very name means "Master of the World," is not just a deity of the people of Odisha; He is a symbol of unity, inclusiveness, and divine love that transcends all boundaries. His Rath Yatra, which brings millions together, is a testament to this. As His chariot moves through the streets, it is as if the whole world is moving with Him. Rich and poor, young and old, people from all walks of life come together to pull the ropes of His chariot, united in devotion. For us bhakts, Lord Jagannath is not just an idol, He is the embodiment of the eternal truth. His eyes, which seem to see everything at once, remind us that He is always watching over us, guiding us, protecting us, and leading us on the path of righteousness. His large, unblinking eyes show that He is ever-alert, ever-compassionate, and ever-present.When we come before Lord Jagannath, we are reminded that in the face of challenges, we must have faith. The Lord’s grace is endless, His blessings limitless. He teaches us patience, resilience, and above all, unconditional love.Let us not forget that Lord Jagannath also stands for sacrifice. He gives Himself to the world in the form of food, shelter, and refuge. The Mahaprasad of Puri is not just a meal, it is a divine blessing—a symbol of how the Lord nourishes us physically and spiritually.Today, as we stand in His sacred presence, let us take a moment to reflect on our lives. Are we walking the path of dharma as He has shown us? Are we embodying the compassion and selflessness that He exemplifies? Let us renew our devotion to Him by living lives of integrity, service, and kindness.May Lord Jagannath bless each of us, fill our hearts with peace, and guide us always toward the light of truth. May His Rath Yatra continue to unite us in spirit, faith, and love, and may we always remain under His divine protection.Jai Jagannath!
