If you’re in AI, pivot to table salt
Morton salt is mined 2,000 feet below Lake Erie. And now the lake is leaking into the mine. The mine was evacuated, with no injuries. Do not expect the mine to reopen anytime soon. Or ever.

Just voted Democrat down ballot because Nick Fuentes told me to
Trump promised “no new wars,” then started a war with Iran that we are not only losing but which also destroyed the economy. Meanwhile, his corrupt advisors are selling their access to him for millions of dollars to megadonors and foreign countries. Stay home or vote Democrat.

3 in 4 were.....?
25 women and girls. That’s how many were killed 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙙𝙖𝙮 in conflict zones in 2025. #Peace must mean safety for women and girls. 🔗 More on the @UN Secretary-General's report on #WomenPeaceSecurity: unwomen.org/en/news-stories/… #ForAllWomenAndGirls
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
According to the same UN report, women and girls accounted for one in four of over 37,000 civilian deaths in 2025. Men and boys were the remaining three-quarters. The report notes men are still likelier to be killed. unwomen.org/en/articles/fa…

Would be a pretty solid product for women going on runs or hiking solo
Purdue University's IDEAS Lab built an autonomous drone that tracks runners through dense forests completely without GPS or cloud networks. By running 3D LiDAR mapping and obstacle-avoidance AI entirely on-chip, it can weave under tree canopies and predict target movement through blind spots in real time. Massive implications for next-gen search & rescue and edge AI.

sometimes people get bored with their lives. but they can't mess it up too much or they will suffer very painful consequences. So they'll do stuff like come in late to work. Drive aggressively. Try to get volatility anywhere they can get it.

A big part of why America is so goated is we handed it over to autists in the early days and just let them ball out.

My liege, @johnternus Could we potentially get some sort of functionality similar to autosaving login information, but for when we put an address into websites? I move every year and I have to manually keep track of which websites/apps I have to update my address on. Auto-tracking would allow you to easily see and update addresses for every place you entered them into. I have various subscriptions that deliver stuff to me and I always forget to change the address on a few of them and they ship stuff to my old address and there’s basically nothing I can do. I thought about making an app for it, which would work for websites, but there would really be a way to do that within iOS apps.

Tweeting is a healthy way to fire off your thoughts. If they stay in your brain they will mold and rot your psyche. Instead you can slowly destroy the minds of those who deserve it (Twitter users)
