COOL POKÉMON I BROUGHT TO WORLDS THREAD (1/8) Rather than go into length about the competitive side of Worlds since M-B is ending next week, I wanted to gush about a few of my favorite mons I brought that mean a lot to me :)))

4-4 Worlds. I have many thoughts about my team, meta matchups, and the prep leading into today (mostly positive!) to post later. Despite some big matchup blind spots, these may be my favorite 6 I've put together and I know it may be the last time they'll be viable for a while

Oops I finished in Champion tier... twice?? I built teams for my main and alt around the speedy Megas Raichu Y + Aerodactyl with differences between the supporting cast. Volcarona Dragapult pokepast.es/234daae345da97a1 Beat Up Annihilape pokepast.es/03b70606ab4a36bc Short write-ups ⬇️

On my main, I used the more hyper offensive team with Dragapult and Kingambit. Volcarona is a major cornerstone piece that plays very well into this meta. This one is specced to always survive Sneasler Rock Slide and Helping Hand Mega Gardevoir Expanding Force. (3/4)

I built a Bulk Up Annihilape team on my alt, reminiscent of Regulation H as a matchup check. Incin Rilla balance mode works well for bad Annihilape matchups (fast Floette, psyspam). Despite ending a tiny bit higher on my alt, I think this team's matchups are more polarized. (4/4)

Very fun fact about Glimmora that I realized recently - "Peter" is derived from the Greek word for "rock" My middle name is "Hua" which is the Chinese word for "flower" MY NAME IS LITERALLY "ROCK FLOWER" Anyways here's another Meteor Beam GRAAAAAAAAAAAAA

The full team! Dragon Cheer gives autocrit to Salamence's Slash (80 BP buff, now hits as hard as Double-Edge with crit) and anything Sirfetch'd throws out, like in the clip. Biggest takeaway I got from this is that Sirfetch'd feels like a physical version of Hyper Beam Sylveon

I won Colorado's first league challenge of the season! My thanks and compliments to the chef @chlotad 🤌The team is really well thought out and the quick matchup guide at the end is especially helpful!

Chloe’s Worlds Top 16 Team Report

Hi everyone! Today, I’ll be detailing the team that allowed me to get Top 16 at the 2026 Pokemon World Championships. I used an interesting combination of Mega Metagross and Kleavor, which I thought...

(7/8) After this season and realizing the crazy namesake connection, Glimmora has taken over as my all-time favorite mon! I would have brought the one I took to EUIC and Seattle but it isn't shiny 😅 I plan to shiny hunt Glimmora the Chosen One on my birthday next month though.

AFTERWORD 8/8 I am cutting back on majors in 2027 but I will still be fully supporting my local scene. I cannot give enough thanks to all of Colorado Rampardos for a great 2026 season. We produced THREE other qualified players - Thomas Irwin, Chris Large, and Enrique Grimaldo!
