Nordonia is in the house @ @PowerOfThe_Pen state tournament. Excited for these kids today as they compete with Ohio’s best young writers… #nordoniarocks

Daisy does it again! Another 1st place finish (87 writers!); she’ll represent NMS at Ashland University for the state tournament. I’m so proud of this group— what they’re asked to do is incredibly difficult. I have a feeling we have a few future authors here… #knightsthatwrite
I’m very fortunate to be where I am with the people I’m with.. #lovemyjob
Huge Congratulations to Mr. Stern for not only being the “T” in PTA Award winner for the Middle School PTSA, but also the district wide winner for the 2023-2024 school year!🎉💐🎈

LAST CALL: Are you a high school senior looking for a scholarship?! We are offering a $5,000 scholarship to a student pursuing the arts or entrepreneurship in honor of our late friend. Check it out here: patroutamemorial.org/scholar…
Our 7th & 8th graders competed in the Power of the Pen district tournament.. The 7th grade placed 4th place overall! Daisy won 1st place(!), while Tori took home 10th. Ava won 3rd place in the 8th grade division. I’m so proud of this group; I love being around them.. #goknights
Our students continue to impress me! It took 40(ish) rounds decide a champion in this year’s spelling bee. They made @Shawn_Bally, @Coach_Simonetta, & @EFinkell work! #goknights
The middle school girls got a taste of what playing basketball is like at the next level.. The girls reunited with some old friends (current players) after the game.. #goknights 🏀
Lost a close one to Wadsworth tonight 29-28.. I tricked my Whoop band— it thought I was working out. Nope, the fluctuating heart rate and unusually high stress level was just a result of an intense game! Time to go 1-0 in the tourney Saturday… #goknights
The present and the future.. Thank you @NordoniaGB for coming and cheering us on.. We definitely felt your support and fed off your energy! Good luck the rest of the way.
Cats win! I see what all the excitement is about, @jtrib24 and @Lynbrooks23 ! Excited to catch another game..
Tomorrow’s Power of the Pen tournament @ Brunswick Middle School has been canceled! Writers please spread the word/check your email.. @BryanMSeward @AshLTurner1119
The 7th grade girls won big— 38-14. Great bounce back win! It’s time to build on it.. #proudcoach #thepicwasnotmyidea
Held a SPIRITED “Power of the Pen” meeting this morning.. Watched as students worked HARD on a theme essay during the day.. Coached a team of fiery, competitive girls motivated to get better after school.. Today was a fulfilling day. Grateful to be in the position I’m in. #proud
Today was nostalgic.. It took me back to the days of staying home from school sick and watching the best game show ever— The Price is Right! Surprisingly, many of our students were familiar with it.. #comeondown
It’s good to be back… Open gyms are an opportunity to find out who can lead and who is receptive to feedback... I’m proud of our 8th graders; they’ve developed game plans, worked individually with newer players, and made sure everyone felt included.. #wenotme #goknights

@Shawn_Bally @TattonMary @MrTylerStern You all put up a good fight! Here are some action shots from today’s game! These are the moments that remind us of why our jobs are so awesome, glad I stopped by. Maybe I’ll be brave enough to join in next time! 🏐
