Post-2010, the world witnessed a renewed fascination with strongman politics. People were persuaded to believe that democracy was slowing down progress and that one powerful leader could solve all their problems.
They placed their faith in leaders who considered themselves bigger than institutions and promised national greatness, prosperity and global dominance. Instead, what followed was the erosion of democratic institutions, repression of rights, wars and economic turmoil.
Recent political trends suggest that this faith in strongman politics is beginning to unravel. People are realising that concentrating power in one individual who claims to be strong does not necessarily make a nation stronger. They are rediscovering the value of democratic freedoms, accountability and the institutions they once took for granted.
More importantly, they are beginning to question what national greatness really means. Before promises of global dominance, people want something far more fundamental: economic stability, an affordable cost of living, and accountability from those in power.

Five weeks ago we reported that two Election Commissioners had objected 14 times in 10 months, revealing an unprecedented rift inside the Election Commission.
Since then the Commission has reversed course on almost EVERY move the two Commissioners had
red-flagged.
The last was Form 6.
The SIR declaration is now out of the online form everywhere, including the states where the SIR is still running. It’s a separate declaration now.
With this, the reversal is complete. Let me explain.

Some common sense being spoken, apart from 20,000cr in direct GST government was taking 30% TDS from all winnings as well which was likely 3-4x this amount. So almost 1 lakh crore of tax vanished and underground/illigal companies are thriving.

Young startup founders in India getting disappointed by VCs / Investors.. who don't show up for meetings, don't respond to emails or chats, reject the pitches, or simply pass on your startup?
Wait till you meet Investors who go back on their word, fish info for their investments, do not honour commitments, withdraw termsheets, vanish before signing SHAs, have cold feet on executed agreements, and so on.
Stop crying foul about it, and move ahead with building your business. It's all part of the game you signed up for.
Founders have to win despite all of this, and they do win!

Two days back, Instagram had blocked a reel on the ECI's affidavit in the Supreme Court in the SIR case, before restoring it after a few hours.
The reason given for restricting the latest video is "We received a legal request to restrict this content".

🚨 ATTENTION! People are mistranslating what I said!
I NEVER said people should block far-right accounts. I said they should IGNORE THEIR POSTS!
Blocking actually works against this strategy because the algorithm will understand that you didn’t see the content simply because you blocked the account.
However, when a post appears in your feed and you ignore it, you don’t read it, don’t like it, don’t comment on it, or engage with it in any way , the algorithm will interpret that content as irrelevant because it was shown to you and you chose not to engage with it!
THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BLOCKING CONTENT AND IGNORING IT!

I have recieved 2x ₹10,000 challans for my vehicle while puc was valid.
पिछले कुछ समय से मुझे लगभग हर हफ्ते, कभी-कभी तो हर दिन, ट्रैफिक चालान मिल रहे हैं। हर बार ₹300 का चालान देखकर मैं सोचती हूँ कि आखिर मुझसे गलती कहाँ हो रही है, क्योंकि मुझे पूरा विश्वास है कि मैं ट्रैफिक नियमों का पालन करते हुए गाड़ी चलाती हूँ।
लेकिन आज तो हैरानी की बात हो गई! आज मैं अपनी गाड़ी लेकर घर से बाहर तक नहीं निकली और फिर भी चालान आ गया।
मैं दिल्ली ट्रैफिक पुलिस से विनम्र अनुरोध करती हूँ कि कृपया इस मामले की जाँच करें। कहीं यह किसी तरह की तकनीकी गड़बड़ी, गलत चालान या किसी प्रकार की धोखाधड़ी का मामला तो नहीं है?
मैं नियमों का सम्मान करती हूँ और उनका पालन भी करना चाहती हूँ, लेकिन बिना गलती के बार-बार चालान मिलना चिंता का विषय है।
कृपया जाँच करके स्थिति स्पष्ट करें, ताकि सच्चाई सामने आ सके।
