Tell me how I’ve reached a point in my teaching career where I find myself sitting in the GFT on a Wednesday night, watching a film written, produced, AND directed by a former pupil?! @sophiiiexxx I am so incredibly proud of you! 😭❤️

I remember Morrissey said in his autobiography: ‘David Bowie is detached from everything, yet open to everything; stripped of the notion that both art and life are impossible. He is quite real, impossibly glamorous, fearless, and quite British. How could this possibly be?’ 💔

Okay, so I haven’t seen every BBC period drama ever… but I’m pretty sure #WolfHall is the finest, most immaculate incarnation ever? 💔 (plus sleeping cat)

Makes my top 10 movies every single time - a British classic. Too many favourite lines but Bill Nighy’s ‘we had our jabs when we went to the Isle of Wight’ is 🤌🏼😂

20 years ago to this very day, our movie came out in UK cinemas and changed my life forever. Eternal thanks go to everyone who helped make it and everyone who saw it and made it a hit. But, wait there’s MORE! ... 👀 1/4

Can’t let the Curran side down 💛 turns out plastering your classroom window in lots of ‘Christmas Wrapping’ (😉) takes a wee bit longer than one might think 😅 an apt tribute to all the teachers out there, too! 🤭
