Ss in @TeachThemMissM class get to choose how they demonstrate their knowledge and understanding on their mid mod assessment. Ss can choose to create a poster, Slides, or Collage. They utilize a rubric to reference their work and include all requirements! @Hamilton_LN 🐆💙

Students taking ownership of their assessments: choosing to show the differences between Patriots and Loyalists in the form of a sort, a collage, or a poster. Then we will self assess and share with classmates to demonstrate our understanding! @Hamilton_LN

Module 3, The American Revolution, might just be our most engaging! Wasn’t sure Love That Dog (poetry) or our animal defenses unit could be topped, but here we are! @Hamilton_LN restating and citing textual evidence in our character analysis this week!

One of our favorite EL strategies is equity sticks& we use them on ping pong balls in fishbowl! Everyone’s number is inside the bowl to ensure we’re ready to participate if our number is picked! Numbers are returned to the bowl to keep engagement up! @Hamilton_LN
