For the 100th day of school, Mrs. Hook’s second graders at Clough Pike got to bring in a collection of 100 things or draw a picture of 100 things. From fuzz balls to beads, popcorn pieces to coins, and math equations, they put 💯 percent effort into this fun project! #WCconnects

📏 Mrs. Hook’s students at Clough Pike have been working on measuring the length of objects in centimeters, meters, inches, and feet. As an activity, they read the story "Inch by Inch", by Leo Lionni, and created an animal and measured it in inches and centimeters. #WCconnects

🧮 Mrs. Hook’s second-grade class at Clough Pike worked on math, Unit 1: Adding, Subtracting, and Working with Data. Students To add fun to the equation, they played games to practice their addition and subtraction fluency. #WCconnects

🧮 Miss Mayerle’s second-grade class at Clough Pike worked on making and describing arrays, understanding the difference between rows and columns, and using the arrays to help determine if a number is odd or even! #WCconnects

🏛️ Clough Pike second-grade students went to the Cincinnati Museum last week! They visited the History Museum, Science Museum, Children's Museum, and the Omnimax to see “Secrets of the Sea”. What an exciting way to top off an incredible year! #WCconnects
