#Neighbours fans we need to cherish humanity, connection and community , and fight to keep #AI out of #RamsayStreet. We owe it to our friends from afar!

Some days, I just really miss #Neighbours. 🥺The characters, the familiar faces, the laughter, the drama and that feeling of coming home to Ramsay Street. It’s still hard to believe it’s gone. I just want them back. 🏡💔 #SaveNeighbours #BringBackNeighbours
The #Neighbours fan community stands against the use of #AI in our show. Our community spans the world and it transcends generations & trying to alter something we love to suit one generation you think is more important than another @FremantleAus is inherently wrong!

#Neighbours might be resting but her incredible legacy will never end & her open-ending holds potential revivals for the future in forms of spinoffs. Stories are yet to be told in Erinsborough.

It’s not over while we’re still fighting! Never underestimate the passion, resilience and determination of #Neighbours fans. This community has proved time and time again that we won’t give up on the show or the people who made it special. #SaveNeighbours
Over time @BBCOne @channel5_tv @AmazonMGMStudio have made a commitment to #neighbours but SENSELESSLY let it go! The passion , loyalty & love of the show by #fans hasn’t waned in any way so WHY are we without it AGAIN?
We’re still here & we aren’t going anywhere! #SaveNeighbours
🌟Thank you to everyone joining the Tweetalong for the #SaveNeighbours #BringBackNeighbours campaign! Every tweet is vitally important to show #broadcasters #streamers #media how much #neighbours means to us & how hard we're willing to fight for it’s future. We WON'T give up!🌟

People fight for what they love and Team #Neighbours are still fighting for Ramsay Street. It’s not easy when people tell us to give up or say we’re wasting our time. But why should we stop fighting for a show that means so much to so many? #SaveNeighbours
What does it have to take for #streamers #networks #broadcasters to take notice of creatives & fans that we WANT humanity & REAL people & for those people to be compensated for their work!
Take note @FremantleHQ #Neighbours SHOULD BE off limits to this #AI reformatting nonsense!
Old episodes turn into new inventory once a tool can recut them, which makes a soap with more than 9,300 of them a large library.
Fremantle, Neighbours' producer, is working with RoseBerry Media, which makes vertical episodes for phones, to recut old Neighbours footage with an AI-assisted tool for its Epis platform, the Guardian reports. The first series centers on Margot Robbie's 2008 to 2011 storylines, two of them cut into about 150 minutes.
Stefan Dennis told the Herald Sun the project is "unbelievably invasive, morally and legally wrong." Matthew Werkmeister said that when he signed his original contracts at 13, AI and vertical streaming platforms "didn't exist and was not a consideration," and that he has had no word on whether residuals will be paid. Guardian Australia understands residuals will be paid under the original agreements.
Contracts written before anyone priced vertical video will decide who gets paid when old footage is resold in a new shape.

While some may accept defeat, the show remains LOVED 🥰 so WHY should #Neighbours fans accept the end? Axing the show was a dumb decision made in some back room with no reason, or consideration of 100s jobs, or a community that’s loved this show for 40yrs. 💪 #BringBackNeighbours
🎶🎵🎼 Still a #comfort, still #uplifting, still a beautiful #memory and still something we aren’t finished #fighting for!! #Neighbours 🎶🎼🎵
Those who didn't watch #Neighbours will never know what a comfort the theme tune was. After a stressful day at work/uni/school/home, the theme instantly relaxed you for 20 mins escapism. Well... I know I skipped it half the time, but still it's really missed. #BringBackNeighbours
The drama of @neighbours has never rang more true! A freeway thru #RamsayStreet is literally an analogy for what’s happened IRL! Our Aussie faves put up a fight, like we as fans have for 20?months. Remember that ‘where there a will, there’s a way’ to #SaveNeighbours #Neighbours
When Susan said ‘ I don’t want to find a new perfect blend, I want to stay in this one’ she spoke for EVERYONE!
#Neighbours IS special, It didn’t deserve axed, it doesn’t deserve this #AI decimation & we want our #perfectblend back because there is NOTHING quite like it!
Been 20 months worth of campaigning to #SaveNeighbours
We’re still here because #Neighbours matters now & has always mattered!
You don’t fight this long for something insignificant & it’s frankly crazy that @AmazonMGMStudio & other #streamers can’t see that!
#BringBackNeighbours
Just like 2022, every time I watch 2025 finale it gets me. Every time, I miss them with all my 💔. Every time, I feel there’s so much more to come. Every time, I watch I feel angry that something so special was taken from us. So we 💪 to get #neighbours back! #BringBackNeighbours
The fan community stand with #Neighbours cast & crew. #AI has no place anywhere near our show!
@FremantleAus may be a big machine but this absolute abomination of a content direction WILL fail without support!
Fans & creatives HATE this idea & will 💪this illogical development!
Its been part of our lives for 40yrs & #SaveNeighbours #BringBackNeighbours campaign clearly indicates to #broadcasters that #neighbours has a loyal, fierce, supportive fandom that aren't willing to let their show go without a fight, fade into TV history or be destroyed by #AI!

One thing this campaign proves is that the conversation hasn’t ended. We’re still here, still sharing ideas and still asking for #Neighbours to have a future. The right partnership could change everything. 🤞#SaveNeighbours
This time resting of #neighbours hits different & campaign has been tough! However, no battle has ever been won without immense challenge. What would life be tho if we just rolled over & gave up on something so important just because it’s hard! So we fight on! #SaveNeighbours
