Charlie often warned against “wearing the costume of the holy.”
Invoking God or quoting Scripture means little if our fruit doesn’t match. But how do we discern what is truly of God, and what is simply dressed up to look holy?
That question was at the heart of my message today at @LibertyU, a place special to both Charlie and me.
Jesus said, “You will know them by their fruits.” Are we growing closer to Christ, becoming more truthful, humble, loving, and forgiving, or are we letting anger and noise pull us away from Him?
Charlie understood the importance of living his faith through his actions. He challenged people, listened to those who disagreed with him, and devoted his life to building something bigger than himself. That is the kind of fruit I hope my children see in me, and that others, whether they agree with me or not, might see as well.

Twenty dogs were found malnourished and neglected in an alleged Georgetown County dogfighting operation.
Twenty terrified animals. Used, abused, and treated like disposable weapons.
They were rescued. Now the people responsible must be held accountable.
Dogfighting is not sport. It is cruelty. And the monsters who profit from it deserve no mercy.

We have made animal welfare a cornerstone of our legislative efforts, championing numerous initiatives to protect animals and prevent abuse.
We have a duty to protect the voiceless from torture and abuse. Animal cruelty is INEXCUSABLE.
Our Illegal Alien Animal Abuser Removal Act makes any illegal immigrant convicted of animal cruelty or animal fighting inadmissible to the United States, and those already here immediately deportable.
The message is clear: abuse animals, get deported.

Today is World Animal Day. We love our animals, and we won't stop fighting for them.
They aren't lab equipment, and they aren't disposable. We've made protecting them a priority during our time in Congress:
✅ The PUPPS Act ends the breeding of dogs for research and shuts down the pipeline supplying them to taxpayer-funded labs.
✅ Violet's Law, passed in the House-passed Farm Bill, requires federal labs to offer retirement and adoption to animals instead of euthanasia once research ends.
✅ The PAAW Act prohibits the National Institutes of Health from conducting or funding research causing the most severe levels of pain or distress to dogs and cats.
Man's best friend belongs in a loving home, not a lab. We'll keep fighting to protect the voiceless.

Trapped in rusty wire cages, terrified and awaiting certain death. This has been the reality for 70 dogs on a dog meat farm in South Korea. They still have a chance at life. Please donate to help get these dogs to safety and save more animals from suffering: hwfa.link/x100126

We introduced the PUPPS Act to shut down America's puppy pipeline to research labs.
A White Coat Waste Project investigation found Oak Hill Genetics, the nation's second-largest lab dog supplier, shipped 1,518 hound dogs to 44 U.S. laboratories in just 18 months. Many of those labs still receive NIH funding, meaning taxpayers are footing the bill.
Our bill bans breeding dogs for research, cuts off the supply, and imposes civil penalties of up to $10,000 per dog, or $40,000 for repeat offenders.
End the cruelty.

“The most important thing is sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ every single day. The second most important thing is making sure you can do the first thing.”
My husband dedicated his life to protecting the freedoms given to us by our Creator and ensured by our Founders.
I’ll forever be inspired by the wisdom in his words. I pray they inspire you too, not simply to cherish the freedoms we’ve inherited, but to defend them so our children and their children inherit them too.

Dogs aren't lab equipment. They're family.
Right now, breeders are mating dogs to supply taxpayer-funded labs with puppies, some as young as three months old.
We introduced the PUPPS Act to end it. No more breeding dogs for research. No more supply to the labs. And every dog already in the system gets a shot at adoption, not euthanasia.

Not a clump of cells. Not a parasite. Not a thing.
