I wonder if this will go the same way as the clubs investigation into the other incident in this area - in other words - no response
Same section where Leeds fans attacked a City fan. The club have obviously not learnt anything from that instance.

Not holding my breath for the club to act responsibly. Maybe apologise, maybe revisit ticketing policy but most importantly stop selling tickets to away fans. Blues can’t get tickets-it’s a travesty.

reading this again and it's sending me under - Leeds fans in home end (video proof of them all over the ground) assault City fans and break one of their legs, he's currently in hospital. Club brief against eyewitness accounts from fans and say no Leeds fans were present??

Good news. The full 'new' state pension is to rise £460 a year next year due to the triple lock. That is a real rise of about £200 above inflation. Yet there are 2 things I'd point out in the context of the debate about the winter fuel payment.
1. That starts next April. This winter most pensioners are facing (looking at energy bills alone) a typical £500 higher cost compared to last (energy bills are £100ish cheaper, but no £300 cost of living payment, no up to £300 winter fuel payment)
2. The full state pension rise is for those who get the full state pension. There are up to 800,000 of the poorest pensioners who get less than the full state pension (£11,400 a year) who aren't claiming pension credit and will miss out on the winter fuel payment even though they should get it. They are very hard to reach and will be under huge financial pressure. These are therefore people the govt said should be helped but due to difficulties in the system won't be. These are the people I'm most worried about, some of whom may end up choosing between heating and eating.
Nb Only 1 in 4 pensioners get the 'new' state pension (ht @paullewismoney) the 'old' state pension also has the triple lock but as it is on a lower base won't rise as much.

Over the years I’ve lost two friends, one Palestinian and one Lebanese, and nearly lost a third, a French cameraman, to the willingness of IDF soldiers to open fire even though they knew perfectly well who they were. But they felt sure their superiors would protect them.

And just where are the Palestinian evacuees supposed to go? Shame on you Netanyahu
Replying to @IsraeliPM
Therefore, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the IDF and the security establishment to submit to the Cabinet a combined plan for evacuating the population and destroying the battalions.

Little over a month ago and it appears nothing will deter Netanyahu. I think a special kind of hell awaits him on judgement day.

History is unfolding today, revealing the true face of Israel, which has become a "Hitler." Those who hold the state captive through injustice and coercion forget that the value of human life is far greater than religion and power.
Let us hope that the genocide in Gaza will stop soon.
