And that’s a wrap! Thank you @FCCPS for 30+ years of employment as an educator. You allowed me to grow my passion for education and I met and made lifelong friends. I certainly felt the love this week! Here’s one final HUZZAH for my students! 🤓
It truly started with Norma Lanier, Nancy Birhindelli and Nancy Robert’s at TJ (FC) daycare. Growing up as an educator on the fourth grade team and within the comfort of Falls Church wasn’t on my radar 30+ years ago.

It’s been a busy morning at the VA General Assembly. VEA’s bills, SB 104 (which would raise VA teacher pay to the national average) and SB 105 (which would create a NBCT Incentive Reward Program), both passed the Senate Health and Education Committee unanimously!
