Two large rabbits sitting on the neighbour’s driveway. Quickly called the 3 year old to have a look. She gasped, pressed her face on the window, gazed at them with wonder and awe, and whispered “fucking hell.”
I have decided to bail from this thing that used to be Twitter. I first joined as a fun way to connect with folk who watched my tv shows, then it morphed into connecting with folk I met on here … I dunno where to direct you for us to still be friends. On FB I am Kate M Hall but
2/3- I have a special needs kid so I’m sensitive about who I let in to other socials. But I don’t want to lose touch with the people I’ve met here. I might not always engage, but I read.
Before I went to EGGS on the west Auckland bus, I was a westie and a little bogan. My cousin Chris has inspired stories & scenes in almost all of the shows I’ve written. He died peacefully in his sleep last week. RIP Cousin Chris, thank you for the stories. (Pic by my bro Dave)
Fun time dropping daughter at school when she announces to her teacher "Mummy called daddy an asshole this morning". It was true.
So excited, so many hilarious NZers involved here - Jonny, Jackie, Jesse, Josh, LUCY!!! - how cool, can’t wait.

The star of my weekend is @VicksVapoRub thanks to an autumn flu. Sick and snotty and coughing and annoyed. And also surprised that @VicksVapoRub has a Twitter account.
It was so cool tonight, my mum and I decided to get drunk together, but then all of my many children started interrupting and stopping us and delivering monologues and they still are, so my mum went home and we didn’t get drunk and so actually it wasn’t so cool after all.
I only watched because me and my darling special needs 18 yr old were home together on a Saturday night. She was pretty into it until she suddenly announced she was going to her room to watch @ShortlandTweet on demand instead 👍👑 #Coronation
I always reckon as a writer, embrace all the things you wouldn’t normally do so you have a wide experience of stuff to write about. Which is why I find myself the quite incompetent manager of an U7 rugby league team.
I first joined Twitter because I had a show called Go Girls about to start, and it was fun to chat with people watching it. I’ve met other lovely people here, but lately thinking my mental health is better not seeing vicious dumbass tweets all day long. This place used to be fun.
Haven't been on Twitter much since it turned non fun. Kia ora to anyone who sees this. I might check in again next month.
When I'm writing a script, I write the final scene first, then work backwards for a few scenes. Anyone else do this or am I weird? #screenwriting
A spider falling straight down the top during the walk to school is a fun and exciting way to start the day!
