What a wonderful #arcadiafirstday at Hugo Reid Elementary! Grateful to have another great group of 4th graders. π
Great first day today. So glad to be back with the kiddos and my amazing 4th grade team! #ArcadiaFirstDay #HRE
Had a βteacher for the dayβ. I would say she nailed the famous Ms. Moore headband/top knot look!
Happy 100th day! So many fun creations, from 100 pieces of yarn, to 100 Michael Jackson songs, to a 100 cotton ball Hello Kitty, and SO much more! #HRE #arcadiaunified #happy100

I've been sharing this amazing picture on Zoom class visits β kids remote learning during a polio outbreak in the 1940s. Schools shut and teachers read lessons on the RADIO. We're facing such challenges today, but as I tell kids, we've faced them in the past and gotten through.
Yesterday was "Bundle-Up" day at Hugo Reid. We decided to take TWO class pictures of us bundled up. They LOVED getting into the winter spirit! Happy Holidays from room 121βοΈ#spiritday #HRE #arcadiaunified
My students ESCAPED the haunted house for their math review this week! #PHEW #spookyseason #ArcadiaUnified #HRE
Another successful pick-up day in room 121! Students took home materials for future science experiments, and it was so fun seeing their excitement. Of course, I also had to throw in some bubbles for brain breaks! #handsonlearning #sciencerules #arcadiaunified
Virtual classroom jobs ready to go! My goal is that these jobs will help build a sense of excitement, community, and interdependence in our class! #BetterTogether #Mooreof4th #HRE #ArcadiaUnified
First day in the books! Team Moore ready for a great year! #ArcadiaFirstDay #FMS #HRE @ArcadiaUnified @FoothillsMS

Excited to officially be a part of the @ArcadiaUnified family! Looking forward to a collaborative and informative NEA this week with @ausd_amendoza @miss_meikle @lantonha.
Finding a balance between virtual education and virtual reality. We miss our staff and students! We discovered itβs hard to teach math through pictures! Love, Moore Β² #coworkerswholivetogether #FoothillsFamily @FoothillsMS @benacker @ArcadiaUnified
