A wonderful day of learning today at the @il_etl Workshop! It was extra special because there was such a big contingent of female technology leaders there today!

This was one of my big takeaways too! Ownership, especially shared ownership, over a problem is important to be able to find solutions. #IETLUpstream
Explaining a situation as if you yourself are experiencing that problem is a way to promote universal ownership of a problem to begin upstream solutions. #IETLUpstream
The first section of Upstream is all about barriers to solving problems. Often times we can't see problems because we have tunnel focus on what must be done, but setting aside time to get out of the tunnel is so important. #IETLUpstream
I am reading Upstream by Dan Heath as a part of an @il_etl book study. As I read I am going to be sharing my learning about how to solve problems before they happen. Join in or follow along! #IETLUpstream
